I was "lucky" enough to buy some at 75p last week and to sell half at 84p...still sitting on a £ 500 loss though...it stings quite badly and don't expect to get the loss back anytime soon if at all
Agree, it was outrageous. It might as well said "we know of no reason for the share price movement today but will know the reason for the share price movement on Monday!"... can this be investigated (should it?)
I think the fact a RNS was issued on Friday stating company knew of no reason for share price movement - when the following working day there IS a reason has not helped! I expected a fall but this has surprised me...
Dreadful news today and if the company knew of no reason for the share price drop on Friday...they sure will know the reason for any share price drop today!!!!!!
Until the downturn is over and the outlook becomes positive, it is probably better to hold onto most of this cash windfall imo...doesn't stop a special dividend or buyback .. but I wouldn't use it all..
A very detailed IMS and some positive developments...share price is oversold imo but until the markets calm down I expect to see large swings upwards and downwards....today should be an up day hopefully!
Yes, if there are 4 poss bidders, then it is very likely at least one will make an offer soon...share price would probably have risen quite a lot more if it wasn't for the 100 point market fall so far today
Way oversold - there's so many shares that have fallen far more than the stock market this week and this is a great opportunity to add and sit back for a while to wait for a decent return....
Thanks. I checked todays' RNS and first page states "NAV is £ 27.6 million". Shares in issue are 69.11 million so divide the two and you get 39.94p!! Thought I was close to actual figure. Still agree with other posters that the NAV has potential to increase but you can only go on actual figures can't you? So 33% upside in share price then minimum?
The majority of times a share goes ex-dividend it falls to take into account the due payment so SEA will fall prob 7-8p going ex-div imo. NAV is about 40p (which will fall once ex-div) and earnings will be lower next year as they included the sale in this financial year. However I agree there is upside and patience shareholders s/b rewarded with further dividend payts and corporate activity.
Agree it does look very positive and share price should be a lot higher by the end of today. My only point is that the 10p dividend is an one off? Will SEA be paying dividends in future years?
Yes you could be right and the share price may drift down further which would be a good opportunity to buy/add. However, I personally think it's near the floor and I would be surprised if it went below £ 1.30..wonder if it could become a takeover target at this level?
