It looks unlikely after the positive IMS and factoring in the Autofocus windfall, however you cannot rule it out. For example, a sudden downturn in hire days and a profits warning will see a sell off or another long recession or competition factors will hit HHR hard. This is a high risk/high reward share and King999 states he already has exposure here but would not add at this price - fair comment. Maybe investors will continue to buy at a higher price but positive developments and trading will bring more confidence and justify a higher share price. So 1p is unlikely in the short term imo

With volume picking up again today and some large buys going though maybe a RNS is in the pipeline? Get watching!

I doubt we will see as much selling tomorrow and any decent buying volume will push the share price back up but hard to see it breaking out of the 1.5p - 2p range in the short term without news

The actual spread is quite tight at the moment which is probably a good sign. 1.7p to sell 1.74p to buy. It's going to be an interesting week, especially if the new 3% shareholder continues to add!

Sorry I will post on your thread re share suggestions but I have added more holdings to my SIPP to reduce the risk. The last week acquired holdings in htig, cpp, ser, sres, sou, vmp and tan. All high risk shares - I will look at SNT and post on your thread

What do you mean "no prob for GC"? Not sure what GC stands for? I have learn one lesson this year, the first time the dreaded words "little or no value for shareholders" is mentioned in a RNS I will sell out in future. Held on far too long in AAT, HIBU and HAMP - no way back for HIBU now imo.

Note that 100k shares were purchased in two parts today on AVIA - a director buy perhaps. Another high risk share but with these types of shares aka HHR the potential upside can be substantial. Good luck for December

At least HHR is back on PIs radar now. Massive volume the other week with half the share issue traded for no apparently reason (although Accident Exchange winning another court case against the insurers suggesting more positive news for HHR might have been the reason). There has been talk of a takeover or merger and why have the directors not purchased any shares unless something (Autofocus) market sensitive is going on behind the background. I value HHR at 3-4p if recovery continues so will continue to hold - I know it is not a share for you atm but please keep tads on developments. BTW I really appreciate your general chat thread.

Did AAT, HAMP etc have NAV on their books? HHR NAV is 3.3p or £ 10.5 million atm excluding the expected windfall from the Autofocus settlements (Prob £ 10-20 million). Yes goodwill is a factor and the company is likely to make a net loss for the next year at least - but I see a "potential" recovery share here. I have already banked some profit (my average is sub 1.5p) to reduce exposure but if the debt is dealt with it will get interesting here. The banking facilities are fine to December 2014 and one last point - which company doesn't have debt on its books - I know you have a list of 10/20 shares to avoid but you probably could extend this liist to 100 shares plus! I just like higher risk shares and thankfully have been getting most of my picks right.

Don't forget £45 million of the debt is fleet-related so probably will remain on their books whatever and will go up or down in relation to hire day averages. Net debt is £ 106.8 million atm ie. £ 58 million is non fleet debt. Trading profits for the last 6 months was £ 2.45 million and debt interest £ 2.9 million so the gap is closing. Im not saying its going to get back to anywhere like the profits seen several years ago BUT the debt was far higher then too! (£ 227 million). IMO they need to revert to an ABS model, acquire a law firm and have an equity issue at the same time. Oh, and don't forget they will be shifting some of that non fleet debt.... A U T O F O C U S
