3 fold increase in net profits and 0.47p earnings for the six months. Suggests 1p full year earnings and 0.3p dividend on the cards - the share price will shortly be going into double figures imo

Thanks and agree with your points 1) No one buys 40k and 77k without expecting further good news 2) free float must be extremely low now so will be difficult for this buyer to acquire further large amounts 3) profits will be significantly higher 2nd half 4) 30-35p share price target is fair with 3p eps on 330k profit. Only negative I can think of is the director loans still due to be repaid by the company but the cash flow going forward should enable this to be repaid next year - also there is a risk of a placing at some point but if it is to fund expansion it should be well received gl

Agree Vendia will want a decent buy out price - 40p minimum, maybe over 50p?

This contract is a likely game changer as STY has struggled to make margins/increase revenue on large parts of its existing businesses (see the last results). The only issue really is how much margin will STY make on this deal and can they win further contracts.. If so, then a return to prior levels (40p plus) sometime next year could be on the cards... it will be interesting to see if the share price can find a new level at around 10p and not fall back on further profit taking...

Correct as we all agree it is very unlikely that any other investor has been picking up 50k blocks several times per day... a holding rns has to be near to comfirm but 10-11% is now likely and at this rate he could be nearer 13% by early next week - obviously MMs will have to continue to push the share price up to tempt some sellers first! Hopefully 20p will be breached tomorrow gl

Can you really blame anyone banking circ 100% profit in just a couple of weeks - especially if they see another s/t opportunity elsewhere? Remember there are various types of investors - one day P & D, short term looking for an exit price, medium term 6-9 months and those who tuck away for several years... surely everyone has their own methods and sometimes a mixture of these positions... STY is a win for both one day and short term investors over the last month - whether it is a win for medium/long termer investors remains to be seen as although it is a classic recovery share there is the small matter of the preference shares to worry about... a couple of further similar contract wins will put this matter to bed and those who continue to hold will also bank further gains gl

I think once 29.9% threshold is breached you have to make a bid - so he obviously has worked out how many shares he needs to acquire - then add (if agreement is reached) the parties holding the lock in shares - to hit the 50% level so that the bid will go though unchallenged.. I cannot see an offer being turned down unless he is "mean" and only offers (say) 30p...

Well to be fair to Boris, the share price would probably still be around 10p if it wasn't for his stake building as the company is still in its early cycle of profit recovery... Once the lock in period ends I would expect him to make a swift move on a (recommonded?) bid next week - unless he has a target in mind in regards to acquire x amount of shares first...

Well done as 4p was far too low for STY even after the poor results. This RNS could be a game changer but it's difficult to work out fair value for the shares and decent profits will be diverted to repay the preference shares but still long term good upside here imo (hoping my SNAK profits will be used for a holiday soon lol)

TBH not in and need to do some DYOR but this looks good value even after the rise because the conversion rate for the QPP shares is 84p for the NARS shareholders so you would presume any takeover offer will be at a similar leveL? ie. 35% higher than current share price (I mean why just stop at 22%)

Good to see double figures again after sooo long but remember 2 things 1) read the last results - they were not good so any clues on future profits? and 2) the preference share issue will not go away! Somehow the company is going to have to pay them back and we are talking several million pounds here (per year by 2016) so probably heavy dilution on the cards here at some point. However if you are looking for a short term 50-100% gain then STY is obviously the share to be in gla

It's ok - the thread will be red hot sooner rather than later when Boris makes his move. At least this is not a pump & dump share because anyone who dumps will just be giving more shares to Boris - now we just need confirmation via a new holdings RNS gla
