Let's be honest, until last week and that RNS (you know the one that mentioned China, although long termers have known about China for zonks) there were virtually no "Phorm fans" on this thread! So why the sudden interest? Shouldn't you at least be listening to those who have been here a while and have seen this all before? List ten positives (if you can) and ten negatives.. dyor and then decide if 12p and a £50 million market value is a tad expensive considering it will be months before commercialisation takes place in China... good luck if you wish to stick in here as the low free float will definitely invite share movements both ways if interest continues..

Never mind looking at the share price. Look at the market value. Less than £2 million for a company going in the right direction and likely to breakeven next year. Place a value on the company once profits are made to work out a share price target ie. £300k profits could mean doubling the current share price but its might take a year or two.. still little downside and pently of upside gla

Read back though all the RNSs. eg last October the company updated about its commercialisation of Turkey! Must be doing well because in the six months to the end of June 2013 the revenue so far was a fantasic... US$28k ! China has been mentioned by Phorm for months so I am not sure really why this new RNS which clearly states that China commercilisation is months away has gone everyone excited. Similar RNSs have been made before - it has all been hot air! What is true though is that the share price has re-rated to a market value of £50 million (!) on a mere minimal revenue and past failure after failure. Why should it be any different this time. Those who have done their research should be asking the same... has cash burn slowed? has revenue picked up? when will commercilisation take place? any forecasts from the company? Sadly no one is providing any answers...

Well done. Appears sentiment have gone positive even if the fundementals have not yet. Just proves that the best returns are seen in small cap loss making or high indebted shares now a days.

Acquisition of Tryzen for £6 million - seems a great deal for the company and leaves a decent cash surplus...especially when you look at the "net worth" per Ian.B post below. Hopefully a blue day!

Thanks. I presume their government still has restrictions on accessing certain websites etc but probably not really relevant to Phorm? Mind you Turkey has a decent population but revenue so far gain is minimal so quite a bit of research is required here if you wish to be a long term holder. Looking forward to seeing what happens this week gl

I've only invested here this year (in and out several times and it has been about timing when to buy and when to sell as you can definitely make money with this very high risk share. It took a while to understand the "deramps" but there are several posters who have been on this thread (and advfn) for a very long time and although perhaps a bit obsessive - they have been right so far. The facts are clear - the company has exceptional cash burn, historic losses and previous projects (ie Brazil) have fallen flat. However mentioning "China" has got everyone excited because there's over 1 billion potential customers there. My guess is that history will repeat itself ie. there will be another cash call soon and the share price will correct back then gradually recover until the next update etc. So my advice (for what's its worth) is to not be too greedy and bank any decent profit as although Phorm might get China right in the medium term - in the short term they will need more cash aka more dilution. If you don't believe me - the charts will confirm it. I really hope they pull it off and if you are in here for the long term then put the shares away for the next two years and either they will be out of business or a much larger company than now.

Post rec - sadly some appear not to have done any research and in one way who can blame them when they are making a decent profit. I would to reinvest here but it is obvious another cash call is coming and the higher the share price goes... the more likely the company will make its move.. so I'm waiting until after the next equity raising gla

i read that two shareholders hold 80% so you are right about decent volume causing sharp movements gl

All day? LOL count the number of posts I made... 5 or 6 mostly this morning. Sorry but let me make this clear 1) been a shareholder three times here and may be a shareholder again 2) I stated FACTS ie. share price twice up to this level then fell back after placing 3) longgggg way to go to even breakeven. The reason I was a shareholder before was that I thought the share price was oversold and I was right but this was before millions of new shares were issued so I am entitled to change my mind. TBH I nearly bought yesterday as I got see a bounce coming so well done all who got in early today and are in profit. So if telling people to DYOR and look at the history of this share is a deramp - sorry but stating cold hard facts is just trying to get newbies investing here to weight up both the pros and the cons gl

Revenue US$ 28,545 in the six months ended June 2013. Cash burn US$ 2.5 million per MONTH. Cash held US$ 9 million. So revenue needs to increase 100 fold to equal one months cash burn. I just wish people would do some research before piling in.. I don't disagree the potential is massive but how much more cash must be raised and shares issued before the company breaks even? The company will use any share price strength to issue more shares - they have done it countless times before. There's been a rollout in Turkey but the revenue so far has beem minimal... pently of questions - not many answers. Just to wary imo - TWICE this share has spiked to 6-7p then fallen back all the way to 3p. It could happen again if the expected placing materialises soon

TBH I have turned more negative as I have seen a pattern of the company confirming good news then a placing materialises and the share price falls back. Eventually either the company will no longer be able to issue shares as the market will not believe them or the company will achieve enough revenue in Turkey/China to breakeven and the share price will re-rate for good. The jury is out but I appreciate this share divides opinions and anyone who can make a valid bullish case could make me reinvest again - although I think I will wait for the share price to settle down and any placing news first gla

Thanks to a fellow poster and the recent buy rec I invested earlier this week and now with the share providing a possible transformational RNS and fellow new investors I expect a gradual climb towards 35-40p over the next few days until further news gla

There were a lot less shares in issue back when the price was 80p
