Cheers and I have held here - I just didn't expect the breakout and some have made quite a bit of money here recently. AIM shares are my fav too because they are never boring (or safe lol)... and news is due here so I still watch with interest..

Good luck here - I really mean it. If I lose out I only have myself to blame - I am sure the share price will move on the China update but be weary of a cash call a few days afterwards - that's all I am suggesting MIGHT happen

But we are talking years here of Phorm going into certain countries then pulling out and sometimes not even updating us why! (Brazil/Poland)... This is the last chance for them to get it right - China or bust... as I said, the past is no guide to future performance but I'm not convinced yet it will be different. I agree though that the China update will give us all clues - but it must mention REVENUE gl

Can you also see the pattern of cash calls being made by the company every few months due to its multi-million pound cash burn rate? Sorry but this pattern will continue for a while yet - they will need pently of funding still before breakeve is reached.... no problem trading this share but its history is so complex you really need to invest here with wide eyes open and knowledge of its history of over promising and under delivering.. gl

You really expect the share price to "double a few times" from its current £ 60 million market valuation based on the fact it is attempting to achieve commercial operations in China? Last reported revenue was US$ 28k not million. So revenue has to increase 500 fold to stop current cash burn - so perhaps lets get over these issues first before talking of £200-300 million market values here!

There's an update due on their infant China operations... obviously the share price suggests good news.........

Some of the biggest trades we have seen here for a while... managed to get a top up at 17.24p - maybe news is around the corner?

You can now buy for 16.34p so maybe lack of interest today giving the MMs the excuse to lower the price at bit?

Must be another tick up due if this continues. Also topped up at 5.05p gla (advfn poster reckons any share issue has to be at the NAV of the company which he reckons will be circ 18p post SWAP settlement - so pently of juice left in the tank here)

I wonder if these 0.40p trades on Friday were buys or sells? Excellent research again Treacle29 and will consider buying back in here too if I can get in around the 0.50p area early tomorrow. gl

Best to read the accounts because it is quite a complex company but, yes, it is the main issue here. Once settled, the company can move forward - and the NAV is far higher than the share price - it's just unclear how much higher until we all know the details of the settlement gl

If the hedge is set at $/US%1.50 but two years later the exchange rate is £/US$1.30 the company will have to pay the unrealised loss or the provider will pay over the unrealised profit at the settlement date. Alpha is sitting on a significant loss but the whole issue of SWAPs is in the spotlight due to questions on mis-selling. Discussions have been ongoing on how the company should settle the debt to Barclays and the settlement delay suggests a positive outcome to proceedings

I have to say I am "impressed" by such large buy trades - someone really is prepared to accept a higher than usual risk/reward ratio here. I could understand it at the 5p level but in my humble opinion this is fully valued until further news

Not sure why you "expect" China to also be an excellent result - no one knows. Remember Turkey operations are ahead and have been in the country longer than China so expect earlier stage results - of course they may still be good. As a trading share it is tempting to join in as another bounce on good news will happen - but what will happen if China doesn't mirror the Turkey operations progress? gl
