mrcautious ,I must say he is very good at his job and his propagandistic posts subtly and sophisticate.
@jimb2, you draw conclusions in haste. I have been here since 2013 and I bought BCN like many LTHs because of REM. I already have a substantial holding and if this goes to £1 believe me i will do extremely well.
Until today I never thought that GFL will be interested to buy KDNC except our 30% interest in Sonora joint venture. However, after reading the BB today I think there is remote chance that they may want to buy us out. If this is to happen, I expect the share price to remain at these levels (it worked very well with BCN) and Border Bob to keep posting on this board! :)
Observer842 forget your wish for " £1 today,.........." they have outsmarted us once more ;-)
““Right now, lithium demand is growing at three times the speed of lithium supply. That’s a big problem that needs to be solved.”
They keep radio silence. Shouldnt, they inform shareholders of any developments.? We only hear what the offeror has to say.
I find it outrageous. They obviously don't give a damn for shareholders but what is strikes me is that the Take Over panel despite the suspension they allowed GFL to promote acceptances but left it to their discretion the need for regular updates.
IMO the reaction to the RNS is muted because we still don't have any proper resource estimates to value our sp. How much is our 20% interest worth? Without a DFS or at least a PFS is impossible to attach value for any project.
Yesterday I added a few more as I believe /hope future proven resource will be good but I don't expect anything dramatic in the short term.
tomcat totally agreed. But you are very good with analysis and calculations and seem to have a clear understanding of the market, Do you really think there is a slim chance for GFL not to achieve the 51% milestone? I have no illusions that the bod will change their minds and protect our interests? They have deserted us many moons ago. My only hope is a distribution of the reserves.
Fozdog ,well said. However personally I want to free my capital and thus I am seriously contemplating to accept.
If the Mexican Antitrust Authorities give the green light, then my monies should be in my account before Christmas.
In any case with the %s controlled by IIs who took a long position the chances are that GFL will win this one.
With hind sight I should have sold months ago but now that we are nearing the end game it makes no sense to forfeit the benefit of another 5/s (about).
@mrcautious ...or simply lack of managerial skills.....the fact that they rejected 70p for the finance but accepted 25p is a good indicator of their ability to read the market correctly IMO .
Indeed, John Excellent choice of word. Mind you I had to search the internet for the meaning :)
Bearing in mind the long positions of the IIs and the % they now control I sadly believe this as " compli de fait"
Sand Grove 2.26%
Weiss Asset Mng 4.11%
Buyer of the shares held by Societe Generale 1.32%
Acceptances as at 28/10 42.8% (including GFLs holding)
@tomcat Thank you
If The Mexican Antitrust Committe gives their ok to GFL and they get enough acceptances for their offer, when shareholders are expected to receive their money?
@Mrsbu As per Jam & EV
Good Luck
As per today's RNS sold:5.1M at 67.75 yesterday. I guess we will have another RNS from the buyer soon

So far volume & price indicate IMO either:
(1) reluctance from shareholders to sell expecting higher prices or
(2) high acceptance level since once you accept you can no longer sell in the open market
If indeed is another buying spree, what do you think the buyers are expecting ...?
I don't think so Mathew. If you look at the volume of that trade it's obvious, I believe that somebody who wanted to sell tried to create a momentum...
