The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Very disappointing update. It's taking far too long to get things going. I'm beginning to wonder if Rathlin know what they're doing.
So basically there is no progress. It shouldn't take this long. It's making them look amateurs.
Nice to hear from you again Ronald. I've missed your mindless optimism.
Why do people get so excited about tankers leaving the site? They've been doing that on a pretty much daily basis for the last year and the share price just keeps falling. If suddenly there were three or four a day leaving site then that would be news but daily pictures on twatter of tankers leaving is irrelevant. UKOG remains a dog.
It baffles me why anyone would throw any more money at this dross. They have failed to deliver on anything and have decimated shareholders investments. The trend is just down and further down and with justification. They are producing piddling amounts of oil and wasting millions unsuccessfully trying to get more out of the ground. Utterly incompetent management.
It's just disappointment after disappointment with this shower of poo. Nothing seems able to lift the share price.
Just when it looked like we had some sort of sustained recovery in the price. Kicking myself for not selling out last night.
So if the offer is worth close to 25p per share, why are we currently selling at only 20p ?
Have I missed something here ???
Nothing - purely procedural, reflecting decisions taken months ago and already announced. Calm down everybody.
I always believed this one to be one of the safer bets on AIM, if there is such a thing. Money in the bank, quality resource, no wild swings in price etc etc but the last 6 months has been a disaster with things only moving in one direction. Looks like its just another AIM dog.
Big investor struggling to get enough shares sells a few, smaller investors sitting on losses panic that their losses are going to start to increase again and so sell, other small investors also panic and follow the herd, big investor hoovers up the shares at a lower price than before they started selling. Not saying that this is what is happening but it is plausible.
Obviously good news to see such a large rise in one day but disappointing that my limit order to bank a bit of profit on a chunk of my holding didn't get executed despite the quoted price appearing to be more than the limit for a fair period of time this afternoon. Will have to hope that we get a further rise tomorrow.
Have to agree that I am now getting a little nervous over both this and DAN. There are better opportunities elsewhere IMHO at the moment but funds are tied here and I don't want to just bail out at a loss and cancel out most of the gains made earlier in the year. Plenty to think about.
I'm with you on the potential and the backing of RT, which is why I'm invested. I just thought there would be a more upbeat RNS but maybe I've just been brainwashed by wildly overoptimistic QPP announcements in the past.
CWO - Not sure why you think this is a great RNS. There's nothing particularly negative but there's nothing that's massively positive either. Given all of the recent hype, I'd say it's a rather disappointing announcement..
