I agree Dug, it's always a red flag but it's seems to be quite a common theme with a lot of these smaller companies, at least the bods are heavily invested which you would think would prioritise their time and efforts in OBD.
Good luck CJ39, it would be nice for a shareholder to finally make some money rather than just the bods.
I could be completely wrong, but I'm giving our CEO and fellow bods the benefit of the doubt. I think the bods will come good on this. I'm definitely not trying to ramp this up as my conviction doesn't extend to adding to my position but if only a fraction of their future potential is realised, this would be a share that you would stock up on if you had a time machine.
Seems we have a new ramper in town, sadly I see them befalling the same fate as all the others on here over the years.
It's now a little clearer as to why Evgen highlighted Stalicla's successful cash raise and drummed on about their partnership during the RNS last month. Maybe Huw and co had their suspicions of not getting the funds back then and thought a small reminder wouldn't go amiss, so definitely a shrewd move on their part.
It really comes down to how unscrupulous Stalicla want to be, time is definitely not on Evgen's side. They were clearly hoping a cash payout would have boosted the share price value and made a placement more palatable to existing shareholders. What we now have is a possibly expensive court proceeding that would further deplete existing reserves and in turn depreciate the share price even further. Stalicla are clearly looking to exploit Evgen's weakness and could quite easily pull the plug at this stage with the hope of picking up the spoils at a greatly reduced price from the administrators or following a very destructive share placement. One thing is for sure, they are definitely on a precipice.
ds, if true i'm shocked you would have taken such a large position, £52,000 plus by my reckoning.
i've been harping on about the risks associated with this company but clearly you don't agree.
hopefully i'm wrong and you'll hit the jackpot with this, the alternative doesn't think bear thinking about. you've certainly added a whole new dimension to ******* in the wind.
good luck, i really hope you prove me wrong and it's not borrowed money.
DS - Well I've made my opinion and views pretty clear I suppose, so going forward I'll observe from the sidelines. My final comment is BUYERS BEWARE. I will be back when these break 1p, I wouldn't want you to miss me.
Pro - maybe you could help me answer this question, they have a product in the market already, the size of the potential market is enormous, so in my eyes I could have well underestimated it.
Evgen have a product that is still at a clinical stage, hasn't been proved to work on anything yet, the trails that it was aimed at failed miserably and a set of bods who wouldn't touch the shares with a barge pole. The shares are in a constant decline, a major shareholder has just pulled out and an imminent cash call that will destroy existing shareholders value is only months away.
Stalicla is one of many that has delved into this, all the other trials failed but you suddenly expect this to miraculously deliver and change the companys fortune around over night.
Smell the coffee mate, you're just one of many who have been trying to ramp this up over the years and all ends up in the same place.
Pro, I may have been wrong a couple of times regarding Evgen expecting a short term bounce that never fully materialised but overall I've been right. My current prediction is that these will be
trading sub 1p and they'll never see a penny from Stalicla. The potential for OBD speaks for itself, you'll look somewhat silly if only a fraction of their potential is realised.
Tricky
You, Pro and all these other existing crop of disillusioned investors will find out to your expenses that it's the bods you should be aiming your criticism and anger at rather than myself, CJ and Radar.
my prediction is that these will be trading at a fraction of 1 pence within the year.
way too much emphasis on the stalicla payment going through which not only myself and cj39 think is fanciful, but also the market, as well as the bods as they would have been fully invested had they thought differently.
every 6 months or so you get a new wave of investors talking this up, ****ging off any dissenting opinions only to be shown to be wrong by the market. the current crop are no different.
I think you are all literally taking this a face value, I think there is something big going on in the background hence the radio silence.
I could be completely wrong in which case this will be sub 10p in the next few months or if I'm right the skys the limit.
Always good to be cautious Dug, especially with AIM. Maybe I have my rose tinted glasses on and think they are about to pull something out of the bag. Admittedly lower sales and an imminent cash call are a drag but I'm betting on a partnership with a big Pharma which would really add value here and make the concerns above irrelevant.
I can't imagine many on here aren't sitting on some form of loss or another. I did decide to top up bringing my average right down.
I know our CEO isn't the flavour of the month at the moment but his actions have allowed me to top up at a great level and if only a fraction of the potential of this company is realised it's a risk well worth taking.
Is that you money munch ?
Pro you seemed to join in September 2022 at about the same time MM disappeared.
It's important because MM was a serial ramper and was singled out by many on here for being so. Similar to yourself Pro, he/she would post endlessly to bury any negative posts and round on anyone with a contrary view. Give it a few more months and Evgen will announce another placement that will decimat existing shareholder value. Admittedly shareholders can vote against, but the alternative will be oblivion.
OBD also need to raise cash, but the bods are heavily invested and will want to minimise shareholder pain. They have a proven product in the market, while Evgen are still at the basement level hoping Stalicla will pay out when it would be more cost effective to delay any payment until next year and then pick up the rights from the receivers for peanuts.
We'll see who ends up with egg on their face, but by then you'll be using a different alias and ramping another dead beat share
If you think Stalicla will pay Evgen anything your all living in CCL.
Pro, your posts are reminiscent of Money Munch who used to continually ramp this up, and dissenting views were slapped down but all the while the share price continued to drop.
Obviously wouldn't expect them to be still using the same alias as they were completely discredited. Any connection ?
As for OBD, they have a product adopted by Bupa and are a million miles further down the road than Evgen.
