Hello Fellow Bushveld owners
Now we are now fully operational, have been making consistent revenues since the lockdown period and have drawn down the loan agreement. We are now sitting in a healthy cash rich position.
What are everyone’s thoughts on FM’s next strategic move?
In the last operational update he said
‘As the near-term impact of Covid-19 on operating conditions is uncertain, the Group is taking cash preservation measures to manage near term liquidity while preserving the long term sustainability of the assets. These include reviewing and limiting operational expenditure where necessary as well as deferring some growth associated (non-critical) capital expenditure across the mining, processing and energy businesses.’
What would he have classed as non critical?
There are two areas he could surprise us with in the near term
Enerox and Mokopone
In the last Mokopone update he stated at the end
"I wish to thank everyone who has been involved in securing this important milestone which brings the Mokopane project much closer to production with significant job creation and overall economic benefits for the company and all its associated stakeholders."
In such an awful economic time ‘Siginificant job creation’ would be highly endorsed by the SA government.
He finally stated in the operational update
"We are confident that the measures we have taken will enable us to build an even more resilient Bushveld Minerals, well positioned to exploit the upturn when it comes.
Im hopeful that he can negotiate a good deal with Enerox and would be delighted if he can close the mokopone transaction.
Or do you think FM is a little concerned and just wants to have the cash as a safety net? But lets be honest there are deals to be had out there right now, and cash certainly talks.
Just wanted to hear everyones thoughts.
