However, current NIPT has two key limitations. First and foremost, NIPT is currently based on analysis of cell-free fetal DNA (fragments of dead fetal cells) which is limited to testing for chromosomal disorders that are caused by the presence of an extra or missing copy (aneuploidy) of a chromosome. These include trisomy 21 (Down's syndrome) and a small number of other very rare conditions. The second limitation is a barrier to entry for companies offering NIPT as current methods are based on next generation sequencing analysis of cell-free DNA and the intellectual property is tightly held by a few large corporates.

Problem with this share as with most aim shares it is highly manipulated and suffers from short term insider trading. It is clear that the RNS was leaked well in advance of release allowing those in the know and the privileged to open shorts. This share is under control of the shorts for now and they will do all they can to drive it lower but as the drill turns and we move into next year in anticipation of ST results they will have to close out and many will get long again. The volatiltiy this causes makes it very hard to invest in these companys. How do you stop the company or those linked to the company leaking price senstitive info to the usual privileged?
