A new chapter is now unfolding next year as fund managers scour for new opportunities renewables will be top of the shopping list. With all the current hype and integrated links that BMN are forging one name will keep popping up and not just on one continent, they will get a serious looking at. I firmly believe the likes of Van eck will be swept aside as real players get on board this is not a one trick pony there is some serious money to be made from renewables and BMN are front and centre. Why others cannot see what is staring them in the face is at best pitiful it has most certainly changed my opinion of what share pundits offer Joe public. Singapore — India's growing urgency to embrace cleaner fuels has prompted Petronas to chalk out a growth strategy that leans towards environment-friendly energy such as LNG and renewables, as New Delhi aims to encourage companies that can help speed up the country's energy transition plans.
While the Malaysian oil and gas firm is actively looking at partnership opportunities in the gas value chain, it has made its maiden foray into the renewables space with the acquisition of Amplus Energy Solutions, which will provide end-to-end solutions for rooftop and ground-mounted solar power projects, and serves the Indian market.
As India's energy needs continue to grow because of rapid urbanization and a rising middle class population, Petronas is eying a bigger share of the energy market, the company said in a statement recently, and added that by 2030, India would be home to seven megacities, boosting demand for energy, power and consumer goods.

New South Wales bushfires: 'Mega blaze' warning near Sydney

The severity of the blazes so early in the fire season has caused alarm, and prompted calls for greater action to tackle climate change. More than 1.6 million hectares of land in NSW have been burnt already. Fires have also raged across Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania.

Authorities confirmed three fires had merged into a "mega blaze" north of Sydney on Friday, covering more than 300,000 hectares. That blaze is about the size of greater Sydney, officials said.

Back in the annals of time before BMN had an interest in Vanadium they were working with a Chinese outfit namely CREC on developing the IRON ORE contained within Mokopane. As I recall CREC sent off bore samples for independent analysis. We were never made privy to those results and it all went quiet. However If at that time the brakes went on because we were at least 3/4 years away from mining right approval might they be about to raise their heads above the parapet again. I find it inconceivable that BMN will just sit on that value in laymans terms all they need do is agree some sort of silent partner/royalty payments let CREC get on with it much as they are doing with the battery manufactures. Also there is some easy picking Phosphate there as well. OK I appreciate its all well and good directing from my armchair but it's there to be had.

My thoughts were leaning more to the likes of companies like Enerex who have got the field experience/expertise to undertake such a mammoth task. Guess what, we now have Enerex Redt and UET in the stable, add to that the capability to cover the vanadium supply, possibly electrolyte, a trial unit in place and the world bank has our back. So where's my confidence level now fast approaching 100% give or take a curve ball.

Interesting re the Dalian battery project how this will work, normally one would pre work the electrolyte in preparation for fill up but I expect the volumes required will be so significant it wouldn't be practical. However If they do want to prepare up front the timing will be important , if for example they come to market straight after the Chinese new year (sooner rather than later) along with all the other steel makers that would be some impact. I assume with a project of this size they will make it up in batches question is how big will those batches be over what time frame. all hyperthetical but non the less key to vanadium pricing next year
