If it reassures, it seems the other company additions to ASX 200 are not seeing major moves yet. I read previously that most of the buying in the week immediately prior ie 15-19th

What rubbish. The date and time is set by S&P and SD has nothing to do with it. You also keep going on about shorts closing (as you have in the past), but there is no evidence they will. SP was 17p before and they never closed, so please just reel it back a bit.

In July S&P announced at 0300 but I don’t what time zone

I can’t recall how many millions GDXJ bought on their rebalance and GGP’s first entry into their fund, but they paid a 7p premium at 27p to get them. MM s found the shares or took the risk that the price movement would create the liquidity. It will be the same in September on ASX

It was exactly this exercise here on AIM that catapulted us from 20p to 27p in one move a few years back. They can’t forward buy is my understanding and the activity occurs between 15 and 19 September

With the ASX rebalance on 5 September and effective 19 September, Morgan Stanley believe around 31 million shares in GGP will need to be bought by passive funds!

Whilst it may be factually correct that all of these data points were signed off at Board the day before the RNS, it is bs that they didn’t have visibility at the prospectus point. Really bad management decision to downgrade so soon after launch and Trust is damaged. Hopefully the need for funds to buy in September will give us a big boost, but now the boost starts from a much lower entry point for these big players. From what I read the rebalance date starts 5 September with most purchases occurring 15-19 September

You have to believe in the fundamentals southerncomfort. Whilst the market may not acknowledge the fundamentals (partly because of the corrupt nature of AIM and shorting), it doesn’t mean that they are not a catalyst for growth. The future events are real and a dual listing means the games are much harder to play. I have made a very significant sum of money in GGP selling at 36p, when many others held on thinking it would always keep going up. Everyone needs to set their own entry/exit point and set their own expectations.

I agree Southernconfort to the extent that buyers here are still mopping up some of that liquidity. However you forget that the Australian market needs to see evidence of an RNS in their jurisdiction post IPO that sets true value. The quarterly results should set that in motion. Then there are other events, especially DFS. Of course we have to be realistic and my short term target is 20p in next 3-6 months. Any more is a bonus, but equally I would not be at all surprised to see that bonus materialise
