I did reply to that effect. PCR is better, but we need a solution now. PCR has failed to prevent group isolation.
His commentary called for development of a rapid PCR test in 6 months. Adding that saliva was
a betterr medium.

Thanks for your comment. I am aware of a number of antigen detection technologies, including affimers and aptamers. In my opinion none can compete with the potential of PCR.
