You could sell half but if it goes up you may regret it.
I've held shared in BOI since 2012, been on a serious roller coaster ride but luckily ended up making some decent profit with a few 2021 topups.
I don't see the share price going back down unless we get another Covid or WW3 but that's just my personal opinion....
It's great to see the sp making good gains over the past few weeks that hopefully it will continue.....
GLA.
From RTE today:
Bank of Ireland said today it will increase interest rates for a number of mortgage and deposit products.
It said this follows increases of 2.5% in European Central Bank rates since July of last year.
The bank has announced a 0.75% increase for fixed rates on new mortgages - effective from today.
It also announced a 0.5% increase for the fixed rates available to existing mortgage customers.
PS. Douglas is a great spot, lived there for most of my life.
Mitegap, you may be out sooner than expected. Good luck...
I first bought in 10 years ago too and seen some serious swings, fortunately I was in a position to top up after the 2020 nose dive so not doing too bad overall.
I'm hanging in for another few years but may sell some once it goes north of 7Eur.
Whats the big news? :-)
I know its off topic but I cant seem to find any active chat on AIB.
Has anyone got any thoughts on the current SP and where it may be going.
The SP has not done as well as BOI when it comes to recovering from Covid/Brexit announcement. Is this to do with the large stake that the state still holds or they are just no doing as well as the BOI?
