Yes agree 100% cey has had a terrible time since the October 2020 debacle and having to spend 224mil in the waste clearance and stripping which should have been carried out as work was progressing in previous years.

These things always catch up in the end it's just that us poor sods aren't there on the ground to see it in person.

Well at least with gold at this level they're making some good profits at an AISC at around $1300 oz

Let's just keep fingers crossed for a q4 130k oz production

I have a stock list of all the gold mining shares that are available to trade on the UK market I made this list on my hl account so as to keep track of companies that produce gold.

The list was compiled on 5th march2021 which as you know was after the wall movement and centamin is the best performer over the period to today and is only down 14.3% and the only one that beats it is PAF.

FRES down 40.1% HOC 47.1% GGP 55.8% All the others are the dogs and are 50 to 80% down

So I'm a definite holder of CEY for the long term as the next 2 years I'm convinced will come good.

Results look good but it's what the market feels that will move the share upwards.

We've had a long run down for 6 months so me for 1 wants some good upwards momentum

There are so many questions that could be put to Centamin especially from you guys that have been in the mining industry.

I work in construction but don't have the first hand knowledge like Dasut and goldknome.

So I just pick up on things that I feel should be explained by the company.

When was the wall movement fixed as we've not had a comprehensive update on something that caused the share price to colapse in October

Yes what will it take gold up 10% since October low cey currently up 2% mad

AU must be supportive of CEY price tomorrow after putting on $20 since our close at 16.30

Considering the low oz for q3 I think it held up very well today

So I find it hard to see how you can work on data over such a short period if time.

Locking good man I recon that was a great trade be happy with your 15% then get back in again in few days time when it's cooled off market makers rely on holders over the short term to make their money especially on leveraged trades 😀 👍

Someone said they got in at 500 well I'd be taking my 10% now and see how it fairs in 4 days time bird in hand worth 2 in Bush don't be greedy.

Looks like we may have run out of steam after a nice 3 week rise so I think it's time to take a bit of profit in a few.

What I can't really get my head around is that gold is now 5% higher than it was on 6th January but CEY has gone down 30% since its high on Jan 6th from a high of 127 to just under 90.

So there's no real correlation between CEY and Gold for the kast 6 months.

My only theory is the marketmakers play the long game to cream in fees from the unfortunate ones who trade on leverage.

I'm just hopping for around 115k oz produced on next quarterly 26th July.

Thanks for your reply yes I do understand your position and very much like myself tend to hold for long periods but will always take nice profits from a quick rise.

I bought some PFC thinking it had bottomed out at 98p haha I got that totally wrong so still holding them.

Anyway I wish you luck and hope you make a nice profit.

This is a tough game and I've seen people lose everything so when I get a nice profit I take it and look for another opertunity.

If is a very little word but in legal representation means so much and is in no way a certainty so there's still a lot of risk involved.

I see your probably one of the guys that's hoping for 100 to break even
