Sd235 the way I look at it as the old adage goes a bird in the hands better than 2 in the Bush I've had one divi off these as I got in late December for the divi income but as this has recently come about I'm out sold yesterday fo nice profit.

I been in this game for over 20 years so no armature and have learn to take good profit off the table to protect it.

The divi was great had it remained in the same hands but even then it can be subject to change when management decide so for me my profits in the pot.

There are a lot that are hoping to possibly break even at say 85 or 90 but I'm pretty sure that won't happen.

All the best you guys that hang on I hope it gets to what your looking for but the markets can be very nasty I've been there and could tell many stories of my losses and some very substantial but it costs you to learn in playing with shares

Get rich we all have individual agendas so I do understand your method of thinking good luck and hope you make a little more if it rises.

However it's very unusual for a share to rise past the takeover bid price

Spike I'm similar to yourself have held this since December 57.5 av and had 1 divi but never look a gifthorse in the mouth so I sold out yesterday as there's plenty to choose from.

On another note once the takeovers complete the dividend could be changed or recalibrate just like that so I'm happy with what I've got.

It don't pay to be too greedy on this game

Steve, CEY is a funny share, I remember back in 2013 to 2015 gold just kept dropping for around 18 months but over that period cey managed to double in price so it's not always the gold price that moves cey

Price of gold up nicely again but does nothing for the centamin proce as we still remain at mid December levels when gold was $90 lowered than today.
Quite an amazing drop from 126 when golds been appreciating in price.

In order to avoid tax you need to be a huge company that are registered for tax in different parts of the world and have great accountants that know all the loopholes.

Thank you for your reply, it just seemed a large difference 100mil to19mil perhaps the lower figure is the number of shares on the book to be traded at that particular time then it reverts back to the total shares that have already been traded.
I'm obviously guessing at my theory but that seems the most probable answer.

Yes I use HL for shares and I see the volume on my screen at moment is just over 94mil now but on investing . Com it shows it reverting too and throw from94mil to just over 17mil and i don't understand the reason, so I posted in the hope one of you guys may be able to explain.
