Scoop they are both GLENCORE shares but volume on the single share is shite so doesn't track our market up to the minuite but the double share has big volume s tracks our price

Morning Billy, the reason is that Bloomberg are using figures from the ticker GLCNF which is traded as a single share and the volume of trade is so small that the share price movement doesn’t track our price on a minute to minute basis so it’s no good as a comparison.

If you use the ticker GLNCY this is traded at 2 times the uk price and volume is massive compared to GLCNF therefore it tracks the UK price spot on.

I think we’re on for a good open today no big dip like last 2 days.

Is up by $25 per ton from when uk market closed so it’s pulled back reasonably over night and ZINC is about same as at uk close last night.
Will Glenda do that early plunge again in first 15 minutes then bounce back like it has in past 2 days ?

GIRO, if you go to a site called investing.com uk then in the search bar at top put in the ticker GLNCY this is Glencore ticked for yank market.
Now the price in dollars is the equivalent to 2 uk shares so to get the exact price of one uk share in dollars you need to divide the yank price by 2 once you have done the exchange rate conversion.

Closing price for GLNCY last night was $6.980 so you divide this by 1.2685 which is current exchange rate £ to $ which comes out at $5.5025 then you decide this figur by 2 giving you 275.128p this is the exact value of 1 yank share in sterling.
