GIRO they try to put the freighters on KAZ holders this morning by the drop in first 5 mins but it’s way oversold and below 20 on daily Stocastics same as what Copper was 2 days ago so now it’s catchup time after the panicked shave bailed out.

Billy I still got some cash in the pot but don’t want to overload on GLEN and KAZ as I’m real overweight on them, so I was eying up a wee punt on GVC probably not today as it’s still got downward tendencies at mo so possibly Monday when it starts to come out of oversold on the daily chart.
Just an observation but when you look at last years GLEN chart it was so much more volatile with downward and upward swings, it’s like an old grandad now just plods along.

From close uk yesterday, Well at least copper keeps bouncing off the £5750 per ton this is 3rd time since August last year so there’s definitely support and is a crucial level.
I’m hoping we will see a nice bounce on open to play catch-up with copper as both GLEN and KAZ went against the grain yesterday.

GIRO, as far as I know a gap up or down is a substantial change in price when it opens from the previous close.
So with say GLEN it would be say a 1.5% to2% gap so if it only opens up or down say .3% I wouldn’t call that a gap as it’s not substantial enough.
Sometimes when gaps happen they are closed in seconds by a quick spike in share price so you need to be on the 1 minute candle to see it.

U.S. oil producers on Wednesday cut nearly a third of Gulf of Mexico crude output ahead of what could be one of the first major storms of the Atlantic hurricane season.

Fifteen production platforms and four rigs were evacuated in the north central Gulf of Mexico, according to a U.S. regulator as oil firms moved workers to safety ahead of a storm expected to become a hurricane by Friday.

Oil prices were also supported by a decline in U.S. inventories. U.S. crude stocks fell 9.5 million barrels in the week to July 5, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) said, more than triple the 3.1 million-barrel draw analysts had expected as refineries ramped up output.
