Fj...do you really think Solo shareholders will stump up 25% of the ongoing operation costs stated at £105m. They have just raised £2m for there share of HH. 25% of £105m is impossible in my opinion!! Selling 12.5% and using the money to contribute towards drilling Ruvuma may be possible. They have always wanted to sell 12.5% as I understand it.

There probably are other companies out there but not with the clout that the Zub Corp have in Tanzania.

CP..i agree I cannot see why we need a team of people costing £750,000 who probably spend a good proportion of their week playing golf or working on the BOD's of other companies earning even more!!

So £10m for 12.5% plus 12.5% of £105m costs. Are AEX capable of funding this. Solo have said for some time they would like to sell 12.5% which AEX can fund but not sure about additional operational costs!

Brexit... I have a large shareholding here and in Solo. This is not great news by any stretch of the imagination. However it is not the end of the world. We can now move forward on the coat tails of The Zubs Corp and Solo do want to farm out 12.5% but they do not have the money to contribute even the remaining 12.5% of £105m drilling costs.i will be watching the next few weeks news with interest. It could be win win for both companies but only if you are lt holder which I am.

Solo are on their way out in my opinion. I hold both.

Isn't Ruvuma a much better prospect that Nyundi if you had to place your money anywhere. If selling Nyundi gives us the additional money to buyout Solo's 25% wouldnt that be a better deal.

They are artificially high to force out Solo imo. Solo cannot afford their share of costs at this level.

The market sees and acts on what is put in front of them. I think this is the opening shot at some interesting negotiations. The market ( mainly PI's) don't like risk and so take it at face value and sell. That is often the best time to buy. I think Solo may be forced out and Aex will either buy 12.5% which Solo want to sell or 25% which gives us 37.5% or 50%. For me 37.5 % is still a good shareholding given the free carry etc.but it would surprise me if the full 26% is bought with financial help via the Zubs. Imo!!

Aex will buy out Solo with financial help from Zubs imo. Either 12.5% which Solo want or the whole 50% to remove them as an obstacle.

They have cash and could raise the rest. AEX are in a better position to raise that sort of money than Solo. Aex could raise the money through the Zubs. I think it's now 'watch this space' !!!

This deal looks ripe to take Solo out of the project one way or another. I doubt Solo will raise £35m from pi or ii's to fund their share of the drilling. Zub's and Aex will have had to take Solo into account and I can't imagine Aex will have settled for the same percentage as Solo plus cash etc. for Solo to reap the same rewards.

Short-termers jumping out .. It will go up later as new and existing lths buy.

It wouldn't surprise me if we buyout Solos 25% now. They can't fund their share of the drilling and we have the money to buy them out getting us back to 50% and free carry and removing them as an obstacle. Win win for both companies Imo!!
