SS would not be buying up other company's. Holdings if this is not commercial. Expect another RNS soon regarding commerciality. Solo won't sell just yet as their share will be worth much more and they don't need the finance just yet....they did not have the finance for their share of the Tanzania but they do now.

But not for shorters or those hoping to get in lower.

For both companies. Solo can finance their Tanzania project and we have greater percentage ownership of the HH licence. SS knows what's coming out of the ground and wants the lion's share of it. Expect an update soon and for my money it's positive.... commercial.

Olly Rodgers....pointless charting an aim exploration company. So many factors can throw the charts all over the place. I use charts and know they have no use in UKOG's situation. Too many unknowns. Use them for ftse 100 companies and they have some use. What if the Portland exceed expectations and the Kimmeridge do.....both unknown at the moment though indicators are positive. This could spike big time and charts could not predict it. Charts and Aim companies do not go together IMO!!

Hammer1....good point although I hope with the potential the Weald might offer they will hang onto them for a much higher price. I expect they will at least wait to see what the Kimmeridge has to offer and if successful may hold onto them knowing they cannot lose on the HH well alone. If SS is right and the Weald oil lake is proven as a fact this becomes a very valuable share.

Razel....have a look at the May to Sept 17 chart....it took 3 months but rose each day as it's starting to now. It never finished the day at 11p but it got to this price for about 10 minutes if my memory serves me correctly and finished about 8.5p for the day. A French investment company buying in helped but they later sold at a handsome profit.

That was also my thinking however I am also invested in FRR and many large trades for a while were not reported until the following day. They have to be dated so it was easy to see the delayed reporting. In fact it became a regular occurrence with sometimes up to a dozen buys being reported the following day. They were always large trades. There was some debate as to whether these were institutional buys which could operate outside of the normal system the order not being completed that day.. In addition there were sometimes large cancelled trades reported the next day. I think this was raised with the relevant authorities but I can't remember seeing a reply reported.

Share price climbing as expected......why the buys???

Andy...they thought the share would rise above the price this morning so missed this morning's higher price.

It's the only explanation for being 4.5% ...ish up and yet sells supposedly greater than buys not that they are that an accurate reflection of the trades.

Trying to fill a big order. It may not be declared today. They may need a few days to fill it.

I agree Mole. Volume is very low for this share and buys and sells if accurate are not far apart. No justification for being 8% down. This share can move 40%-60% upwards very quickly and no doubt will in due course. Pls jumping ship...not prepared to take the risk which may bring high reward.

I agree buys can show as sells and vice versa but equally the sells could be filling a large buy order yet to be declared. It could be combination of both.

I agree chrome but the important question you raise is " the pool is only so big" ....how big is the oil field and how easily does it flow through the natural fractures to the well pool. DL says it's 30 miles long and twice the depth of Shard. Others have there own estimates. At the moment it's all guesswork even ford the experts imo. Having said that i agree that if the Portland is non commercial they would have moved onto the Kimmeridge. It looks good for the next phase..the Kimmeridges.

No way is DL dumping his shares before the Kimmeridge results are in and even then I think he will stay with the company long term. He is a believer in the Weald concept of an oil lake and he does not need the money as he is wealthy enough from all his other investments over the years.

Can see the increase now on ADVFN. Glanced at the LSE screen which isn't showing the increase hence my confusion. Definitely a buy on all key indicators.

Just read it again and its Australian Dollars so £71820 for 14,000,000 shares = just over 0.5p a share. Not a bad earner for an instant profit. But why now I wonder? Does the warrant price change according to the current price albeit at a discount or is it fixed. Interested it was paid in A$'s. DL perhaps as he no longer is a director or his company DOR?
