Who do you normally trade with? I don't understand why they can't access stock....there's 8136m shares in issue. I picked up 2m online using my bank account quite easily.

Jan 2020 ...share price 2.33p. One year later 33p. News will come in due course and the share price will continue to grow but we need patience. I'm more interested in SD's plans for the future of Great land than how big the share price will grow to this or next month. That will determine the share price over the next 3,4 or5 years.

'A Tier One Gold Asset is a mine with a stated life in excess of 10 years, annual production of at least 500,000 ounces of gold and total cash costs per ounce over the mine life that are in the lower half of the industry cost curve.'

At minimum 5m oz of gold plus Copper equiv. to be a Tier one asset. 4.2moz already indicated in Initial mineral estimate at Hav. I can see this being double this at least. Is it possible to have 2 Tier one assets so close to each other or will they be put together as one asset? Contractually they are two separate entities at the moment.

I remember someone on this board running some crude calculations at POG $1400 and showing ;

5m oz = $7 billion = $1.85 per share = 1.48
10m oz = $14 billion = $3.71 per share = £2.97

25% to GGP

£1.48 = £0.37p
£2.97 = £0.74p

We go over a £ at just under 15m oz ( £1.11)

This is without contribution to mining costs, Aussie tax, sum set aside for further exploration etc. but based on POG at $1400 and it is now much higher.

If SW is declared a Tier 1 asset which we all hope and expect (fingers crossed) then double these figures. We have to look at a period approaching 8-10 years for full value and there are so many unknown factors to affect the share price but suffice it to say it looks encouraging for those looking to retire in 8-10 years time on a decent pension.

JSI... I don't see the finance arrangements being a problem to NC buying out GGP. They would in effect be investing in themselves and getting 8% interest at the same time so recouping more than they loaned. That's not to say I think they will buy out GGP or Hav but it can't be discounted

Thanks for putting up those video links guys. Very reassuring as to the future of gold. 'Gold entering a super, super, megacycle' and a shortage of Tier 1 and Tier 2 finds will drive the POG up over the next 10 years. It seems GGP has a massive find on its hands and if SW comes in then I can see why some are predicting £1 + a share. Needs to be carefully managed and negotiated with NC or indeed others which I suppose its why SD has been brought in.

I'd noticed those trades going through. Someone buying in biggish and not wanting to move the share price upwards. Will be interesting to see if they continue.

RacingCyclist...agree this is an interesting discussion. My interest is how peoples behaviour and thinking will change following the pandemic. Will businesses get smaller and nearer to where people live in order to be able to control impact in the event of another pandemic and reduce personal overheads. There is already evidence of people moving away from city and town to countryside. Internet business and delivery businesses have grown massively. Banks offering next to no interest on savings will see more private investors investing themselves thus working from home. I am sure people are rethinking about how they would like to live rather than circumstances dictating how they live. There will be changes just not what they will be yet!

Totally agree with Littlecrumbs....I'm down about £50k but not concerned. Some of the bigger holders are probably down £100k, £200k plus. If Scally is as big as we think and the MRE on Hav goes up which it will then buyers and traders will come flooding back along with Institutional Investors. Greatland is being tipped for 2021 along side majors. All the signs are good!!.

18th Sept 27p/28th Sept 20p, 9 Dec 33p/10th Dec 30p. Declines after rises not unusual for this share. Many have got used to rapid then constant rises and that's not going to happen now without regular news which will be forthcoming but all in good time. It takes time to prove up a mineral field and then start to mine. LTH's are not concerned by small share price drops only the Short term traders are. Even then a couple of weeks until NC report is hardly long term.

If your broker/bank does a Bed and Isa then its straight forward as they sell and buy at the same time...however some are not offering the service during the pandemic. With Bed and ISA you will lose some shares as there is a difference obviously between the sale price and the purchase price plus trading fees and stamp duty. I normally ask them to buy back the same number of shares and pay the extra when I am charged for the trade. My bank is currently not offering the service and say I should sell and buy back in my ISA account. This takes 2 or 3 days. You run the risk then of good news dropping and the share price going up and having to buy at a higher price. I might do that after an RNS and the price goes up. Even then it means you can buy less in your ISA as the limit is financial not the number of shares. I think II are still offering a Bed and ISA if you have the £20,000 in cash to start with.

lutho...the smart money has been buying in over the last 4 or 5 months since Hav got derisked.

Can't believe there are people on this board that seem to condone in 2021 getting your own political way in a major democracy, through violence. The votes that brought down Trump were checked and double checked and in the case of Georgia by a Republican adjudicator. I would suggest that the 70m supporters may well have halved after last nights scenes. it doesn't surprise me that Democrats have now won the Senate elections. I am amazed that a President of the USA has incited such violence. He has done so much damage to the reputation of the office he holds and certainly to the Republican Party. IMO time will show he was the greatest gift the Democrats could be given. Let's hope Greatlands rise to power is not as volatile!!

Yes, the tension is certainly mounting! I cannot see GGP waiting this length of time only to tell us Scally is uneconomic. I think that TMT's theories from last night are the most likely scenario. Scally is going to be a more equitable joint venture between NC and GGP and what is holding up proceedings are the negotiations. NC knows that GGP can go to an alternative major if need be and the choice might be between a more equitable JV, buyout at a fair price (difficult to see given we can place no value on the gold in the ground at present or JV with another partner. Could Callum have enticed Gervaise away to Starvest. They are an investment company I believe but I don't know much about them. Antipa Minerals is another possibility. Gervaise will be highly sought after I would think. I wonder what his pursuit of other interests means??

Hi ADZ2020... Shaun takes over on 8th Feb and Gervaise stays to support him in taking over until the 12 March. SD starts in 4 weeks time and it could be we have to wait until then for the 'Mother of all RNS's'. I think SD will want to start off with outstanding news, news to confirm what he has been brought in to do. Could it be that Gervaise has been poached by Newcrest to join their BOD's and head their Exploration side.

Thanks TMT. A compelling analysis and argument for the strategy our BOD may have adopted. It makes complete sense and if correct shows they have played a blinder in a series of deals. Thank you for taking the time to outline your thinking so clearly. My only question is why Gervaise decided to leave at such a crucial stage. He is now,if not before, a wealthy man and it maybe he'd had enough and wanted to enjoy his wealthy. Possibly I'll health, we may never know. Much has been said for the need of a more experienced man at the helm and perhaps we may be considering going it alone on Scallywag or a more equitable JV with NC and need his experience which Gervaise didn't have!
