You will learn eventually that if it's not the car scandal it's something else that holds this back. Get in around the 30 to 40 mark a little after ex div date then walk away and wait 10 years until lloy half the amount of shares in circulation. This is going hardly anywhere until buybacks punch a hole in the share count. You will see the inevitable small rise and falls. Play them if you feel like you can. But to anyone who's considering buying and not holding long don't play the sharks game and take the bait. Reel them in and spit them out. The question is why are they struggling to rise when ex div is less than a month away.

It will drop pre ex div and again after ex divi in my honest opinion. I do hope I'm wrong but hey ho, haters gonna hate. Groundhog year for me.
On what's happening at the moment with the lloy SP. it's rising so the II's can make a sale at a good price. Then purchase them back cheaper all before they collect their divis and then Lloyds will be buying them back cheaper also after divis. It's a win, win for the sharks but the small fry that are getting in at these prices will be locked in and battered come April the 11th. Repeat and rinse...

Probably but I can't speak for other people's experiences just my own. That's my truth and I will own it.
Also you will notice they've sold off the shares in their own companies, which days to me they have pumped it as much as they can. They will dump it even quicker, then once it's bottomed initiate a buyback and start the pump going again. They are not the richest people because of their morals that's for certain.
My opinion the woke left are in retreat, they want to try their best to help Trump fail when he inevitably gets elected.
A true conservative government would of had us all working twice as hard to cover for those that were at risk of the snivels. Those with the broadest shoulders and all that ... It's generally the dodgy AHO contract and the share price reaction, and the virtue signalling of a few hundred million on laptops for the poor or a few hundred million quid for a "non-profit"bank for the needy that's made me sceptical. I just don't get why they are giving PIs money away. Anyhow it is what it is. I'm entitled to a grumble
The only thing I will be looking at from a PI perspective is why should I bother, what makes it different and what are the advantages to me compared with a normal ISA. If there's no incentive and this is just a gimmick then no thanks.
Probably is the only answer here for you. I'm sure/maybe lloy will tell the MMs and IIs what moves would be best for the financials of the business and the PI's. 😂
I am usually one of the ones who slate this share for its performance and that of the BODS. As a long term holder in perfectly entitled to.
Things seem to be moving towards a positive trend but as I have been here a very long time, I'm airing on the side of caution like a lot of others. I don't want to comment while the donkey is bucking it's way upwards. I like others are waiting with baited breath to see if she will brake the 50s and to the moon and back.
However I just wanted to say about "government backing". It's a loose term and should be considered so. Also blind faith in HMGs abilities has led to a lot of disasters previously. I wouldn't sort of brag about it's influence all be it minute nowadays and wear it as a badge of honour. Because honour is a trait that politicians as we all know can I'll afford.
