Perhaps what is needed is another dodgy government contract with bonuses if the share price reaches above 63p... That won't happen now that those with the power and influence for our when AHO reached the target they set for him. Imho.
My personal opinion is the share is being held back until the buybacks are sufficient enough to not have the market flooded with a few million shares. If this guy to around 70p I estimate thousands of investors would release there stock pile on the market. So best way is to mop up a few billion then let the others back on to the market. Everyone holding because they are at a loss or around break even if your not a day trader that is. I'm only a novice and can only break my weak knowledge down to supply and demand issues. Not enough demand and to much supply.
It seems that the odds are good here if they can hold on until the next election. Labour gets in and I may put a bit more in here. Don't think we will have to wait until back end of 24 for an election the way things are going.
Not trying to provoke a run on banks or anything, just a question perhaps someone here can answer. Firstly for what reason would cash machines not give out currency above or below £10? I have been mustering cash (for my own reasons and because it's not illegal) for over a week making daily withdrawals from many different cash machines to the sum of £250 a day. I have noticed a peculiar pattern. Every cash machine has given me £250 upon request but all paid out in £10 notes. Different days different cash machines same result. I can guaranty if you give it a go the chances are high you will experience this. Can anyone enlighten me to why this is happening. I have around another 11 days of withdrawal and will update you all. I'm even willing to now try other machines further a field whilst on my travels.
Seen it at 0.999 and thought is that a code for an emergency? Don't think it is, I do have faith in these coming good but unfortunately it looks like they will come good for my children to retire and not me :(. Still im locked in and just as well let my loot ride this train as I have no call for a 20p mix up or 3 single woodbines before school any longer.
Fully understand everyone's gripes here but all we can do is write it off as a loss or possible long term win and forget about them. Life is full of ups and downs pretty much like the stock market. Enjoy both before that great big institutional Investor in the sky cashes in your markers...
ATB everyone.
Take it up at the next AGM? You two have both been talking this stock into the ground for over a year and way before last year's AGM.
I will look forward to seeing you both at the next AGM expressing your concerns to the BOD.
First drinks on me if you show.

Good news very positive RNS. Despite what some might say. The news for this company is not here, I suggest you lot who are down beat here research rishi sunaks meeting with Japn in the G7 the other day. Can't believe nobody mentioned it here to be honest. DYOR
Does anybody here think that those anti Brexit folk are actually bots planted to condition us into believing that nonsense they shpeil? You have to love A.I.
At the very least we can expect more red tape and quotas that stifle the business model from the BOE. HMG. and FCA to ensure the banking structure is secure yet again at a cost to the P.I.
Ha ha ?? made my weekend.

Got a like from me, if only because we are talking the banking sector and not some other nonsense.

I used to drink beer and own a brewery, and eat pies but then I decided to buy Lloyds shares and decided that I wouldn't talk about them on the forum dedicated to them especially when they were doing bad.....
Just sayin. Have a good weekend all. Atb
Just in time for a weekend bank failing. Know when to hold em, know when to fold em.
I wouldn't be quite so sure on that. We could be only hours away from a labour government.
April you say... Oh good 23p is still doable then.
Let's look at the small picture here. Ex div 28 march, so I believe. There's a drop in sp right there. Another bank or two goes ***5 up.... Over the weekend as seems to be the fashion... There's another drop in sp right there. Given we seem to be stagnating at 48p before ex div I would say it is wholly conceivable that you could be picking these up for below 45p next week. That's if you want them because after ex div these will be off loaded by the thousands. Imho.
Also some are saying like myself 23p. Another bank down next weekend anytime between Friday Eve and Sunday Eve. Definitely after the market shuts and settled and sold at shareholders expense before markets open. Probably an American bank but squeaky bum time for sure if another European one goes under then 23p will look real to y'all.
KelticCalledIt.
To being a predominantly UK focused bank then this would be it wouldn't it?
Donkey B0110x5 at a guess.
Were right all along with this dogs dish.
"JAM TOMORROW"
43p - 23p and anything in between.
Looks like they're trying to reel in some more unsuspecting PI's so they can never butter their toast let alone put the jam on it.
Know which side your bread is buttered on and stay away from this game it's for the big boys.
Have a good weekend all.
