It is my belief and others the FCA could be part of the problem. Restrictions, regulations and mandates are all you need to control the fluctuations. BOE are also setting out there requirements as with HMG. The Bod are just using the situation to there own advantage PERHAPS. How much exactly are we now owed in back payment of divis? Nobody can truly answer that but yet it seems the meek will accept any bone thrown to them when it eventually does happen. My prediction is that a whole lot of bad news will come to help us forget about how much the bank as swindled us out of. Perhaps a new war that we can retreat from with our tails between our legs or a housing market crash will keep the share holders at bay for sure. Who knows, the fact is this share should be in the £s by now with consideration to its past but it is not, therefore the SP is being held back by what and by whom is completely up to the share holder to distinguish. IMHO. DYR.

I’m looking at this share as being very similar to Lloy. The sp only needs to move a fraction of a pence for the now major holders to make huge sums. Good news turns up you’ll get a penny and a bit rise only to be knocked back down by the major leagues to lower than it should be. Imho.

Backdoor communism as someone once so eloquently put it.BOD making huge sums pegging there own shares into a corner whilst the shareholders get crumbs.

I shall have a gander. The only 3 things that now separate us from the 1930s is a very big anti-left movement (although we are seeing the birth of that). A depression (Hmm nearly there) and a war beginning (Tensions are high looking at world affairs and the doomsday clock) It’s as if someone read the book and thought what a great read that was, I wish I was alive in them times. Well I for one don’t. It really does come to something when your average nut job conspiracy theorist seems to have their finger on the pulse. :)

Sorry for bugging in here. It seems to me that the only common sense thing to do when COVID became imminent was to furlough those in the high risk groups and guarantee them rights. Those not in the at risks group should keep going to work etc but enforce social distancing and safety measures like masks etc. It has been the case always that those who are able protect those who are not. Wether that be through actions of defence or financial. Now out of all this, not only will we see around 3 million people unemployed but we will also see 50 odd million people poorer and having to adjust their retirement plans etc. Next year HMG will announce a work until you drop policy I’m sure. A cash less society free of the burden of un-taxable cash and have yet more control, power on society. Is it a coincidence that national lockdown will coincide with Boris’s biggest Uturn yet Brexit, somehow I think not. Is it a coincidence that huge money is being made on the self imposed crash of the markets I don’t think so. Any idiot could have created a path with less destructive consequences if they had so wished. The question should be asked why was common sense not employed here? Was it for fear of the journalistic view point? Has this all been carefully choreographed from the outset? Does Russian and Chinese relations have anything to do with it? Trade battles and protectionism perhaps? Just something to chew over for a Saturday morning. Have a good weekend all.

A word to the wise, or not so. SP will drop in the short term. Shorting is the game here now. Give rolls another 10years and we should break even. This house is now full of D heads gloating to themselves on an alternative account most of their time. Financial trolling it’s the future. I’m in at 188, didn’t go the whole hog though. Bought another dirt cheap stick with some. To answer your question if I buy a tried and tested old banger and put new brake pads and tyres on it with a quick oil change it’s my decision. I have seen many a new expensive car get called back to fix issues that were not foreseen on the vehicle due to it never being driven. This share is a bit of a banger but it won’t take much to patch her up and get her back on the road. Meanwhile down in the Aston Martin garage the mechanical experts really do take their time to get the correct spanner. Of which their are quite a few spanner’s in these forums biding their time on a personal mission.

Selling then that’s a good time to start buying, or at least thinking about it. Plenty of troffle on here. These shares are way over sold. This will not be the only company to be looking at a horrendous financial situation thanks to this virus, it’s simply one of the first to be doing so. Looking to get in here tomorrow around the 188 level if not lower. Keep an eye out for my big 69k flutter on the buys.
