The new problem at this price is what it says about the reason for the placing.3 May 2024 08:51
Even though there has been the same phrasing used in previous acquisitions, it doesn't mean to say it WILL result in one. It's why they pick the words they do. otherwise, just say it's for an acquisition!
now have Easysend in limbo... stablecoins in limbo, fundraise that might be to be used for 'GSMoney strategy. Even if there IS an acquisition, will it be another one that takes time to benefit company?
just using sp as an indicator, interest and new money isn't coming in. in fact, larger sells than buys, that i can see and it seems to be mainly retailers growing their stake.
there's obviousl downward pressure on the sp. have to expect that the longer there's no further news the price will slide. i don't think ANYONE can have expected the sp to be this low after the previous rns, for all the 'yaaay, buying opp and more for me' from the usual suspects.
what the company needs is the BoD to be saying 'yaaay, buying opp and more for me' but, oh, noooo! not another closed period!
i'm very sure the next news, if an acquisition, will push the price higher... but if it isn't something that shows FCA are actively beneficial to GST, not sure it doesn't just give recent buyers another chance to trade?
