Everyone who's already in thinks the sp is being held down, as the market has a grudge against them! : )

what we actaully have is a load of new holders/traders who are trying to guess if this friday will see another Wellesley buy and possibly add another 20% spike to sell into!

and, if something else positive comes along meantime...

I never stated that he sold... i pointed out that, 1.5million bought by Wellesley was pretty much countered 5mins later by someone else (a pi... because 1.5million is just pi money) selling.

i don't expect anyone to admit the truth here but, if Wellesley is buying in 1.5million chunks then it'll only take another 100weeks for him to match the level Bai has.

personally, find it funny that £7k adds £1.8million! if only he'd buy £50k's worth and then we'll all be millionaires!

like i've always said, sentiment moves shares better than even good news (unless it's a buyout).

while most new investors are cheering there's a lot of existing holders that'll just be relieved to see this out of the 0.5s. just have to hope there's news to kick it further as there's still over 60% required just to get back to the 1.05 placing. so...

and with that, i hope this last minute rise makes your weeend go better.

(and wonder if there'll be a spike into thursday as folk hope there's another Wellesley buy?)

Owner so no rent... and i've made more on that other share. this is a nice rise but it was £7k! suspect they won't let big sells go through so trapping folk.

not a problem as it's friday and better for the share if they hold it until monday and let the trading fizzle. with a bit of luck it'll rise again on monday but... like i said, £7k of buys!

... but don't argue with sentiment... if enough people now believe it shouldn't be this low or will be at 1.2 or better by end of year...

Has actually been with GST since Sept '23 so had ample opportunity to buy when Raphael and Garies dumped to the open market but didn't.

either wasn't inteestd... or 'knew' the sp was overpriced... or didn't have the cash???

regardless, his holding is still only comparable to a fairly minorly invested pi. i've had more shares in this over the past six months. it really isn't a big buying signal and there's little reason for him to hobble himself to such relatively small amount.

BUT, in the absence of any real news i understand why such a big fuss is made of this.

But i still don't see this is comparable to the hundreds of millions sold by Raphael and Garies. in comparison this is pennies but... better!

now, if only they'd release some news that is truly newsworthy and start the pr ball rolling!

Might take the month but looking for 45p as the sp recovers.

all looking better and new uni term will bring student rentalsstrongly into the press which will bring companies like WJG to the fore.

not so hot for lthers unless they bought the drop but recovery is looking promising.

I would suggest that all the 'positive' posters here and their averages would contest that spurious comment!

I said the same thing about targeting their twitter account and got very negative views here about such conduct.

most folk here prefer to whine on the drops or just spount nonsense about 'better days to come'. pretty much live on here reading each other's posts and looking for some comfort from fellow investors while bad mouthing critics or 'liking' other posters.

Bloody pointless having a pr company that just answers 'concerned' emails. never seen any press at all... ever! but good to see that they're reading this bb... and then ignoring all the endless questions and arguments over what, exactly, is happening with the company!

BoD selling those options last week did nothing to convince anyone that there's more short term recovery in the share.

was a stupid move for such little gain and for the signal it gave out!

i'm talking about the popularity of the social media in providing news and opinion about the company and getting its name out there. no point talking about the sp when this share has fallen 60% since a rubbish £1.25million placing that implied it was for acquisitions when the acquisition, IF it happens, will cost nothing like that sum!
