RE: GST is markedly cheap to last placing!3 Sep 2024 10:49
1.23 was the pre placing price...
considering the price we're at atm i don't see any problem with that price. but if you prefer 1.4... doesn't really matter.
i'm just talking about what the sentiment was pre the placing. it was, in the end, that placing and the following rns that damaged the sp. as soon as the 'acquisition' became just a punted maybe and it became clear that the funds were for running the assets.
atm, we've still no idea if Bonfirepay is a serious opportunity or not. they could just as easily rns another acquisiton for another european 'company' with no history in finances tomorrow.
the definites are still DSS news, FCA approval of Easysend and, on a climbing sp, the issueance of new shares for Semnet, which is what i imagine the resolution allowing for the printing of more shares is about.
happy to hold to 1.23 or better if some good news comes along. but their 'cards close to their chest' thing is getting tiresome. and no idea why retailers should need to invest in home spun conjecture when they have the info that would help.
