'The Lord' invested less than a lot of folk here so i don't hold much store by that... plus he bought at the bottom, pretty much. if he were to buy at 1.25 then that would be telling.

as for his family having invested, that's just a ridiculous supposition. why not suggest he's tipped the wink to the Household Cavalry too or got into a time machine and tell everyone at Waterloo to tell their descendents to 'buy, buy, buy!'

and, yes... i'd be happy to see the sp rise too... though if the posts get just as ridiculous i'll still probably comment!

Rich, all true. but you either have to keep the markets/pi's informed or you don't. and, if you don't, every time news comes everyone rushes in and then rushes out again. every rns is a 'surpriiise!' and it just encourages trading. if there's no ongoing comms then it's left to supposition from pi's and, frankly, prettty much everyon in the past few months has merely invested on this rampy board! whether or not the ramps are justified is immaterials to what i'm saying: their comms are shiiiii...!

BoD haven't done an interviewin... 2 years? the twitter account is just a 1980s throwback that they can't be bothered to even update with published rns' anymore. 'playing cards close to their chest' is just a rampy way of saying 'how the fu** do i know?' no explanaiton of the process for bonfirepay or the timeframe, no background to Easysend, after a year, even outlineing with more than a couple of lines what the purpose is.

if you're in a miner, they get money, they dril, you find something or you don't. here, it's just thousands and thousands of posts making suppositions and ' think it's going to do this/bethis/due tomorrow/next week/not at all.'

if a fraction of that 65% ownership were an ii they'd know what was happening. we are divided and in the dark.

It IS a big deal. they've had a year to get this over the line and issued an rns stating a deadline. and folk buy or sell based on the rns' as there's eff all else to base investments on... certainly no updates via any other outlet.

if they can delay rns stating an overrun but 'don't panic' then they obviously feel they're not beholden to their maority investors. we're the last to know and yet we probably hold over 65% of the company! that's about £15mill... if we can't get the info from then then folk are just investing via anonymous opinions held by a few who have good averages and who, theoretically, would still profit on a downturn.

it's rubbish to always say 'they're diligent', they care about their shareholders' and then issue emails instead of rns' with decent details on whatever the holdups might be, if they're inconsequential. if they said there was a revision of deal because of the IPO, for example, that's be just fine and dandy, but i's have to rely on opinions held by repeat posters saying' it's no big thing if there's a delay... or if it doesn't happen'... or excusing anything else that might transpire. it IS a bit shoddy, no two ways about it. whether that affects your opinion of the future (i doubt, what with it being all crypto and moneeeeeey!) but, just a reminder, this is still only just over 1p and still nowhere close to the 2p BoD bought in at, without spikes.

Like to think the reason for not posting an rns is they thought it'be done by the time the rns was published... but still rubbish not to say as much.

If it's in an email then it's public knowledge... the company can't give individuals advance notice of an rns... that' insider dealing! either email gets posted somewhere like... here or it's an offence!

Well, noone's raving or commenting on those email responses so is everyone meant to look at the trades now, to see if folk are buying or selling?!?!

Far better for confidence to hope it's the wider market buying rather than announcements from the same 10 fans of the share here to keep saying they couldn't resist!

Company never really determined what it was worth to the company, what the cost would be... was always the bugbear to me of how much was about taking their clients or even if they were the right clients. certainly the licence would have been 'nice' - and still would be, i assume - but so much has changed in a year that i'd suspect the Semnet IPO replaces most folks' interest in the share.

I'd almost put Easysend in the same bracket as Bonfirepay now... nice but not essential, as there must be other options that would be available?

it would seem that the interims are where the immediate optimsm is and if Easysend comes long too, then fine. but can see GST surviving without it.

Lies??? Ferrin bought back in April 2023... and probably bought most of the cln issued shares at 0.3. so that's a grand total of one i/hnwi who bought at the very bottom of the share price.

there's zero point in getting angry at a few truths being discussed. the only prople who have every benefitted from this are the buyers from band news, not 'good'. i can't honestly think of any good news that's done anything other that allow the sp to recover from truly bad levels.

everyone wants the sp to be higher... that's not exclusive to GST... i would say it still remains to be seen when the sp breaks previous highs, in spite of all the good news that's being predicted.

a bit of tempered discussion really wouldn't go amiss, instead of blaming a lacklustre response to news on corruption and conspiracies.

The fact is, if there are enough buyers then the sp rises. get 100million shares traded, like on the 19th and the sp will be up over 2p. but 18million is within the range of a normal day.

you blame 'trolls' for slides or the mm's 'manipulating' or 'buyer in the background and order-filling' and praise yourself for being in when the sp rises qne then bang on endlessly about how things will rocket on the next rns.

just admit that calling the sp is bloody hard and your're just as likely to call it wrong as right.

the fact that you all endlessly ramp without any consideration for taking a balanced pov just encourages folk to buy into the spike and then have to wait for better news to get out of the red.

whatever you say, the fact that the sp is now held solely by BoD and retailers isn't a good look. it needs ii's to be getting in whereas, instead, we just see yet more shares transferred to pi's and talking about 'canny wives' for holding their shares. but they have an infinitely better knoweldge of what's going on and have barely touched their own money to add to this... and neither have any HNWIs.

maybe they're due any second... or maybe they're not.

but the herd don't come in and stay for the duration as most of them aren't in love with the share or believe it'll give them tax exile status by holding the one share.

while i;m sure you can mention examples, any that' you're still in? and, while it can and has happened, so do lottery wins.

i would have thought the last few spikes would have taught folk here something (but maybe you don't mind pulling new folk in as long as your'e insulated by a low average?) about constantly talking about50% rises without admitting an error instead of saying 'i AM right... but i meant the next rns'.

The US NEVER shows interest in UK microcaps, even when they have OTC exposure. leave the US to get into Semnet and just hope it does what $LUCY did with #TEK (but they were too early in offloading).

unless Semnet and GST are going to be deeply inextricably enmeshed (likely, i suppose) Semnet could easily be the asset to be in, if possible. Or GST decides to delist in the UK... but that'll take a while (not that it'll stop folk punting that as a reason for holding this until 2030).

anyway, don't hold your breath waiting for US to push up the price... there's plenty of UK money about, when/if the right news drops.

What has Semnet got to do with obtaining a UK licence! it's not an eirther/or scenario...

The reason doubt creeps in is because deadlines aren't an obligation to complete on the very last day! they've had a year to sort this out... the only reason for such an extreme holding to the deadline is if both parties were waiting on some event or other to take place so as to judge whether the deal is worth going through with: results... launch...share price... something.

otherwise, why couldn't they just have agreed at any point in time up to now?

Well, true to form, they couldn't be arssed to post y'days rns on their twitter page... and #gst is just swamped with Indian tax accountants so, 'yaaaay for public relations'!

They've written it up with zero previously holding so it looks like a 5% buy...

Wish i could infer soemthing from that , beyond 'coincidence'!
