RE: Hold4 Apr 2025 23:28
I'm not talking about the pi's who post on here relentlessly. they are, as you say, the irrelevant ones.
the question is going to be if ii's believe this will recover better than whatever the offer is and over what time, pitted against what opportunities are now out there with what Trump is doing.
End of April is no time at all to evaluate what the effects of Trumps policy is going to be. it'll take at least a couple of months which would seem to tie in nicel with the Deloitte revisiting of what will be the new snapshot of the company.
unless the offer's already been made and has already been signed, i fail to see, with new fluctuations on oil prices and how the drop in price affects the industry generally, you'd be hard pressed to gues what that would mean for #WG if it was still at 44, 60, 130 or 200p. how you judge it in a period of total flux is nigh impossible, except by throwing in a miserable price and hoping it's more trouble than it's worth for them to stick with it.
took some at 24... added at sold at 32. bought again at 29 and gave up today at 26. i reasoned if it can't hold 30 then i'll wait to see what happens to the price if it gets extended again
anyway, maybe news leaks in the press this weekend and gives folk some breadcrumbs to follow.
good weekend, all.
