Aud, i'm not just talking about the integration. what comments have EVER been made about Angra or GSMoney in the past year?

outside of this bb, i don't recall a single news item about its running, its position in the wider world, either in Asia or anywhere else, nor any news items about Welesley, even in The Lords Gazette, Tatler or Lady magazine! Wellesley is more likely to feature in a Daily Mail puff piece about Waterloo!

just do a news search for 'neobank' and see just how many pages you have to scroll through to find GSMoney or Angra mentioned... not only is it extraordinary how many neobanks there are, i also gave up looking... it's a testament to how early this still is in, according to their news releases.

Pharmas are distinctly out of favour... too many failed assets OR seen as a favourite for aggresive takeovers by trashing the sp.

can't think of how many pharmas i've been in over the years that get trashed and then taken private, with stunning products benefitting the buyers.

There are two sets of clients: those that use the platform and those that own shares in that platform.

at the moment, neither of them are being serviced.

Either for interested parties to staring taking a stake for potential takeover (don't think that's likely but... ) or just the shorter punting lots of very small sells to drop the price.

can't see how the company is 'only' worth current sp with update imminent and interested party approaching company for full takeover!

Bfd, you seem to think that the BoD should never post, never podcast, never do presentations, never tweet, never explain anything about any of their assets or their progress, beyond two statements per year.

it's the most anodyne treatment of a company and its progress i've ever seen.

there's almost zero press stories about them because they never issue any pr so the share price just rises on pi pumps and then falls on rns'.

they may all (nearly all) be HKers but it's beyond ridiculous that we're now in the third year since the last interview! And what tf is the point of Wellesley, after all this time, after all the pumping on here about how he was going to be the UK mouthpiece for Angra or just an English speaking rep for the company!

Take that back... short opened last week. daresay the spike in the price worred them... algos seem to have forced the dip in price but 121 was a bargain, imo, with results due.

fail to see how they will be bad and now that it's clear they're of interest to others even if Nordic Capital backed off, they have six months to make another offer.

would seem to me that this dip has been engineered to get in before results. guess we'll see...

Now at 2.4... results will be good, considering economy and forward guidance will, presumably see the sp looking to move over 3p and stay there.

more M&A due, too? good cash reserves make buying any distressed assets a bonus to growing reach.

can't see how or why the sp dipped to 2.1 but took advantage of it so guess we'll see what happens tomorrow.

the company didn't release the offer price... that would be the norm if it was very positive, as it 'd definitely reprice the share in a very positive direction. if they'd said the price was 160 and rejected then the sp would be over 160 now.

can only assume it was derisory but at least it shows that there's interest.

if nothing else, it has brought the share to the attention of new investors so would expect to now see buyers coming in and pushing the price back to y'days high, if not better.

the sp is patently underpriced for where it is and expect the final results to show as much.

Short opened on the spiked price... wait for them to get out and wouldn't be surprised if that was part of dropping sp to get in before sp moves north, going into the final results.

can't see them being anything but good.

Until our BoD choose to make similar announcements there's always going to be a question mark about third party volumes.

i won't repeat the point but it IS getting tiresome that pi's are having to do that work without verification.

not sure what the point of tating integration complete is without also following it up to make the points about how, exactly it benefits the company? (not, i'm not out... nor 'talking my own book'. just making a very, very obvious comment about the BoD.

The way you talk you'd think WG. get in touch with Sidara to get the deal done!

if Sidara walk away it'll be bad for WG and it'll then be down to WG to bale themselves out and that'll mean cheaper price for asset sales and more onerous deal when they look for renegotiating finances.

M&A seems to be serious too so might have to wait for Trump to wind his financial neck back in for general uplift but looking good for rest of year?

Far better to keep quiet about personal buying rather than leaving it to imagination that the wider market is also buying, otherwise it just looks like over-keen fans just committing themselves further.

Adam, considering you've had the opportunity to sell at near 100% profit and then buy back to double your shares, i don't know why you think targeting one particular poster rather than EVERYONE who posts their own opinions, including your own, is beyond me.

why not just ask LSE to close down all the bbs and leave everyone to guess their own actions or, as you seem to have done, as you only post about this one, to just throw everything into the one share and ignore everyone else in the world who buys and sells according to the markets volatility?

Mms are always in control. just like folk here keep saying about BTC price being irrelevant as buying or selling, we make money, same with mms. except they can also turn the tap on and off or widen the spread to max their revenue.

There's obviously haggling going on, with Sid seeing a golden opp and a long term future. BUT there's a lot of work to undertake to stand WE up again. and it comes down to whether the ii's can be arrsed to wait and see what happens or whether they just move on and reinvest elsewhere... or just negoiate a stake in Sidara/WG. but that would require an awful lot of disengagement of undesirable assets to reduce debt. whether it comes from WG or Sidara IS important as i doubt Sidara want to pay a premium to untangle wtuff... neither will they want to see WG sort themselves outfirst. that said, it's bleedin' obvious that WG will be smaller/leaner when they sell assets. so the sp HAS to be low for Sidara to agree to take on the burden of taking on the grief!

do Sidara really have to good handle now, on WG? or is the fear that it's like the Autonomy/Hewlett Packard 'scandal' where HP vastly overpaid for an asset and then spent years claiming fraud? Here, the fraud has already been determined so what price to buy it???
