I suspect that updated financial statement won't be as attractive as they hope for. said it before when they got a $36million contract for cyber out of the blue, from that $4million previous revenue, when they also had to supply several data servers too, which had no price tag so debatable what the profit will be.

Been the concern for a short while... explains the shorts out there... just need to work out where support will be, worst case...

But RR. never got suspended! there's a difference, esp. as there was also no retrospective investigation into their accounting!

Semnet value is now questionable, under the currrent turmoil and , unless there's some common sense, will be for months (if it wasn't already?). bake is questionable, since the linkedin rocket didn't ignite, and now have no clue as to what revenue it actually adds?

luckily, pi's aren't likely to sell down to get hold of cash for the financial mess and too scared to convert paper losses into cash to make up elsewhere, when so much isn't exactly guaranteed.

I would say that Semnet IPO is currently looking weaker than before, at least, until Trump is assa... changes his mind.

finally, STILL have no clue why company don't produce their own volume numbers, officially, and post them, daily on wider social media as that's a wider board to promote the company than its own GS site, which must only be seen by thousands as opposed to potentially, millions!

From a price of 150o down 99.5% isn't really much to do with Trump.

admittedly, there is a chance for at least a bagging at this level (or tomorrows level, whe/if it drops again) but is anyone going to be made enough to add anything bigger than a punt bet, like one deos on the Grand National?

i can't see anyone sticking cash into this that wouldn't be much more secure in a dmaged FTSE250 share tomorrow.

it's staggering to see a company that seemed to have a very valuable asset be destoyed like this.

I said it earlier, i think most of the new money that might have moved into GST is now either being lost in the markets or is being pencilled in for drops in FTSR 250s.

not the company's fault but it's going to take some real news to attract new cash from the wider markets' opportunities.

If the offer had been 200p then they would have mentioned it, considering the current sp was approx 130p.

the question is did Nordic hold shares prior to their offer and have they been selling them.

either way, it's just ridiculous to talk about what their offer might have been, beyond it having been rejected. and he fact that the company chose NOT to divulge it means it wasn't acceptable.

beyond that, all one can say is that 117 is even more ridiculous but someone other than retailers is controlling the sp and it could fall further. i fail to see why it'd fall another 10% but as there's no identifiable pattern, beyond many, many algo trades for pennies are affecting the sp, one would think that, sooner than later, the price will bounce. if it doesn't then we'll have to start looking for other clues to explain the fall.

Well, it had better be an absolute killer of a forward-looking rns, indicating a future 5p in 2026 (but i'd accept 4p tomorrow!)

mms seem keen to drop the price on the slightest rise so, unfortunately, i'm keeping something held back to see just how low they might be able to push this to close the short.

You know what would be a good tweet from the company?

'Semnet is continuing with its expansion plans with several new job opportunities for a growing Asian market. We look forward to bringing further updates on this exciting time, prior to IPO.' and then listing the links there too, instead of requiring job applicants to pass on news and then having to post the info themselves!

If you look you can find an example of anything to make your point. so we ALL merely back up our own opinions with something to confirm out own belief.

personally, i find the lack of any kind of postings about the myriad of things that must be going on just so illiterate in soft marketing as to be probelmatic.

but that just my opinion and i don't expect anyone to agree... and, even if you do... all i'm trying to say is the sp is hampered by having a lack of cheerleading. if the company did as much as the holders here did to promote the sp we'd be flying... and then actual rns news would trigger the rerates . as it is, we have ramping of the sp and then profit taking when the news arrives!

Agree with everything you post, golf... that's what's surprising at the constant chipping away of the sp.

there comes a point, though, where the sp is so adrift of its true worth that it CAN be a momentum play. surprised last night's rns didn't do anything for the sp. maybe if it had been posted this morning we'd be seeing it hovering closer to the Feb price?
