what does Uncle Joe say...it's the USA pulling the strings.
ASLI's share offers do nothing for investor confidence...prefer ASEI if you want to stay with ABDN, if not there are other REITS /property companies worth a look.
HL have a very good website offering for retail clients but they have some bizarre practices, esp dividend reinvestment window which just look like the taking of the proverbial liquid...if they want the thumbs up from the personal money pages, they have to sort their attitude
glad to hear they are all paid so well
Russian oil sales to India reportedly at 20% discount....not helping oil price.
does it suit USA to keep pouring cold water on talks?
European consumers, macro and micro, are bearing the brunt of the product sanctions....not to mention UN famine relief programme etc.
This sector must be booming, trading updates for sector confirm but SP sad and company hoovering up shares in buyback programme..net result, share price continues down....was there ever any reason why buybacks were good for PIs?
dividend paid 11th March...would have been nice to have had it reinvested then...averaged down 1.04 anyway but!!
dividend paid 11 March...Hargreaves Lansdown operates a bizarre policy that they will only reinvest dividends in a window of 11th to 21st of any month, as long as the dividend is received before 10th of the month...natch, I have missed out on the JRS lows for my dividend reinvestment. Does anyone know whether most dividends pay before or after 10th of month? I can only assume HL have run the figures to benefit themselves from this policy.
FYI: TEG figures out today...6 months to Dec 2021 looking very good...should reflect well on BOWL.
lazards had c. 20% of JRS... now below 15%
City of london had c. 27%...no notification of their selling.
obviously Borrell wasn't listening to deputy pres of Ukraine who was pretty much anti any compromise with Russia today...bring on Ramaphosa..who wants to add his skills to the negotiations.
Listening to news, Ukrainians sounding pretty hardline against any peace deal..plus skynews.com.au majoring on Biden junior's Ukraine payments....does this mean the USA is going to continue to push harder against all Russian concerns...any thoughts?
SP not helped by large holder, Lazards, selling off
rat down a drain pipe? Should I cut my losses on GGP. and buy SOLG?
Can't find it now, but geographical breakdown previously was some 5% outside Russia...which makes sense of the NAV...ish?
NB: Oil and wheat sanctions not imposed by some with genuine concerns for political/ social uprisings as a result of high fuel and food costs eg: India inter alia. I note UNdirector for famine is pleading for grain...predominantly Russian and Ukrainian grain bought for famine programmes.
