Yes, the irony that their fixed debt is now actually nearer standard interest rates, is very good news for Asos.

also the money they raised on the share issue was good, and a saving grace in these times.

Asos are reducing the stock they hold, and improved their profit margins, with costs coming down.

based on their current trajectory and keeping their revenue in the £4b range, this share will be worth £8 to £10 by Xmas.

The increase in interest is solely because the central banks and their servants decided that is the order of the day.

Its all made up by, everyone knows that, money is just numbers on a screen and the power to convince people it matters.

Who the heck is this "market" chap. The whole stock market is controlled by a small band of funds, they are keeping prices down to eat up all the shares and reduce their payments to pension funds.

The true value of this share:

£4b rev with 5% profit = £200m x 15 years divided by 120m share = £25 per share

Can easily be in 7 to 8 region by Xmas based on their revenue and improved profit streams by Xmas.

Asos making all the right moves, with cost reductions, the cash injection from the share placing.

The new Asos sample sell site is great, looking through the collections these are all clothes that Gen-Z are buying, so getting access at low prices will help Asos sell tons of write-offs.

Would expect some funds to buy chunks to hold for long term sell back into the market at higher rate.

I value Asos shares at £20 when the market is back in swing and making profit.

The sells are just profit takers and market cooling.

come Xmas this could be easily double the current place.

or we could get a takeover for £12 within the next few weeks based on the current price.

Nows the time to buy and hold. the whole market is in a wobble currently.

To be fair, I imagine alot of Nicks money is tied into longterm high investment, so selling shares is easy to get immediate cash.

For Nick the Asos shares are just a piggy bank to raid whenever he needs cash.

Nick still has 2,636,025 Shares in the Company, so still could make £40m from those in a year.

The only reason it was reported is because he is a director, otherwise the sell was so small as to not matter.

Web traffic is doing well, and lots of items already selling out, looks like a great revenue generator.

And as someone else said, the clothing would have been written off at cost in the last results, so the money generated will be profit to Asos!

It helps to build a client base that they know will buy clothing cheap/discounted.

They can compare against their main client database and send emails different emails about sales and full price for better targeting.

secondly to this, having the discount sample site stops devaluation of product on the main site.

thirdly, it builds the sample site into its own unique place of rotating clothing which people will have to frequent to get good deals on stuff they would want, so a high traction rate of visitors.

Looking at the profit margin expectations based on the revenue looking at back to 8's by Xmas.

A nice 110% profit in 6 months.

Reading the Asos reports and looking at the coming year from their projections, looks like we could see the 700's again in a few weeks

Strong platform, recent dip helping to shake out profit takers, and rotate in new holders.

Nice stable rise back as we head to a meaningful higher valuation.
