This is what gambling does to you folks. Don't do it (unless you have the mental fortitude). This guy re-mortgaged his house without telling his wife and bought £300k worth of shares in OMI at 40p, some at 45p. Bizzarely, he managed to catch the extreme top.

Then he sat around watching his investment drop to 2p and then sold. Its all true. Its well documented in the telegram group. He had a mental breakdown over there as well.

The guy has lost the plot. He blew the family money on OMI so maybe his wife and daughter have kicked him out? Hence why he has created an imaginary millionaire girlfriend?

Canadian punters are getting wind of OMI. A bigger float needs to be transferred there.

Dr, yes, it’s true we had to put up with a lot of nonsense from the trolls for the last two years. It was nauseating but a few of us here used the time and low share price to substantially increase our shareholding’s.

7.5-8.5p is a good accumulation zone for new investors. Pep 15 might be priced in. However, step out drill Pep 16 could set off fireworks anew. Its being drilled to a depth of 150m I believe.

Did you trade a few today imp? Personally, not traded any yet. The SP is still in the discovery stage I think. Might trade a few in the 15-20p area. Scared I might get caught out and end up paying more when I buy back :)

Rob, the only reason I thought you may be planning to exit is because several years ago I recall you stated on this board that you had a holding of 1.7m shares; recently you said your holding is 1m.

We all handle our holdings differently. No judgement.

If bhargav really owned 2m shares, he would be up £60-70k in the last week. He would be rejoicing instead of moaning and he would not be drumming up fear of another placing .

Early days yet but similarities with the exceptionally high grade Buritica IMHO. Brad even mentioned Buritica in a tweet this morning ;)

Rob, I 100% believe bhargav has sold out completely despite what he might claim. He ran into financial difficulty and was forced to take up a job at a curry house washing pots having invested £400k when the share price was in the 30's. His plan was to exit when phase one was over;September 2022.

The 18 month C&M delay destroyed his finances. He had not budgeted for that and had to sell stock to pay of his mortgage which he had refinanced to invest in here.

You might not agree but that is the short and tall of it.

If he had 2m shares, he would not be so bearish. Stands to reason imho. Now he is just lingering around because of his resentment. This was supposed to be his retirement egg, hence his animosity to Brad which is underserved.

Mrdigit, I do feel somewhat bad for bhargav. He has not had much luck with Aim gold explorers. He sold out of GGP when Newmont pulled out and missed out on a 50 fold gain (or whatever it was).

Once is bad enough but he has done the exact same thing again: namely, selling out of OMI when Newmont pulled out of OMI.

This game is not for everyone.

p.s. has Johnstone stopped posting? Not seen seingred for a few days either.

Its been a tough few years here and it was difficult decision to continue to hold, let alone adding. I was never critical of Brad; he was the victim of circumstance when he inherited the JV with powerful partners who decided to down tools.

As I said before, it was a stoke of genius to regain 100% of the project back with no upfront cost. A small nimble player like OMI will be more able to exploit Anza than a clunky mega cap miner like Newmont or Agnico.

Good luck everyone. This share could be a 1 or 2 year hold IMHO.

I suspect the warrants will be exercised soon, so another £1m+ into the coffers. That would delay the next fund raising into spring.

Brad is not taken to hyperbole, if anything, he has a tendency to down play things, so it is interesting he is somewhat comparing OMI to Buritica, which sold for £800m I believe to chinese miner Zijin in 2011 when the gold price was $1600.
