Have faith guys, I have 40,000 shares and just over £53,000 invested at an average price of around 1.33 per share. No intention of offloading.

It’s good reading everyone’s comments because there is a great variety of opinions.
I bought 40,000 shares at 1.33 just a couple of weeks ago, it’s been very difficult not to sell but the thought of a takeover is making me resist, however I am tempted to sell enough shares to clear my original investment of about 53k.

As a shareholder I wonder what other shareholders think about the likelihood of a takeover due to the current climate.

Decent news and 2% rise?

Let’s face it guys this share is flagging despite all of the news that should make it perform. I’m locked in with 40,000 shares at the moment, my buying price was too high. I think the next time we will see a significant rise is if the company produces another test that shows whether people have had the virus already, or when performance figures are released probably towards the end of April. It’s a great company and I’m at a loss to understand the full reasons why it isn’t showing greater promise.

Nothing but positive news, nothing but negative impact. I detect something very fishy going on here!!

When are trading figures due guys? They should be impressive and maybe give this share the kick up the backside it needs. Nothing else seems to be booting it into the kind of performance expected.

I am suspicious this share is being manipulated in some way, how can this not be increasing even out just a steady rate rather than falling? Even saga increased by 15+% today, And what a state they must be in regarding their tourism section branch.

Is Novacyt mentioned specifically or is it a general approval

Lots of chat on the latest news conference from the Prime Minister and after 10 minutes of continual talking , the word “test” has not been mentioned once. Let’s see if they get round to it.

I’ve been watching CNN and watched President Trump Vice President Pence and some other guy wittering on about testing and all they mention our American companies as usual. They seem quite hellbent on providing inferior testing capabilities as long as an American company produces them. Guys it’s time to be realistic about Novacyt. With everything that is going on in the world this company should be going skyhigh and it isn’t. Even Aston Martin a lame duck managed to increase a higher percentage gain than this company. I make these comments as someone who owns 40,000 shares in this company and would love to see it do well. However I’m getting to the point that I am in despair.

I had something similar with Barclays two weeks ago and if you get onto your trading account there should be a chat section where you can chat to somebody live

I’ll hold out for a day or so. I’ve been very lucky in the past at selling just at the right time. SXX during April last year before the backside fell out of them. Having said that I could have bought Novacyt at a much better price .... crystal ball etc!!!
