I know think £5 is inevitable and hopefully not too far away in order that those of us who were stuffed by the Premier oil merger/buyout can finally escape.
I’ve just checked and the vessel PetroNordic is due to arrive at Lancaster field March 20 around 6 am.
Once an update is released regarding reinstallation of equipment, we shall see a very nice rise indeed.
I would say the next uplift will be within 10 days. Looking good as price of oil is returning to $110 which was about the average for the beginning of the month.
No problem mate, you don’t need to start a new thread you can just reply
Let’s hope we have no dealings at all with Habour energy.
They bought out/merged with Premier oil, I have shares in Premier and quite frankly the shareholders were stuffed. A year on and I still have not broken even with my shareholding, and I bought a fairly good price. So let’s not wish that upon us.
We will get paid on average prices of dollars per barrel for either first five days of the month, which in this case is somewhere between $110-$112 and the last five days of the month, yet to be determined. BP can take their pic of either.
As Goldenbadger mentioned, 7.7m of 14m costs for the period is a one off, not an ongoing expense.
I also noted that he said the figures of over 9000 barrels per day were from well P6 “alone” … does this mean they are also drawing from another well or are anticipating reinstating well 7.
Nonetheless, it’s clear that all debts will be paid from the results of uplift at the end of this month, and it’s gravy from then onwards. Excellent situation for a small oil company to be in
I would imagine they are waiting to check that everything is running well and assessing the amount of power being produced before they will make an announcement.
Another vote of confidence, a director puts more skin in the game.
I don’t think the current price of oil will be down for long, having said that $100 per barrel is something we may have only dreamed of two months ago. Even if the situation is sorted out between Russia and Ukraine, the world will not be buying Russian oil for years to come. There is panic in China at the moment over a resurgence of Covid, which always helps oil drop in price.
If I recall correctly, when the dispute was announced the share price dropped by somewhere between £2 to £3, let’s hope it increases by that much
Amazing that we can track shipping like this and get an idea of what is going on in the area.
I was looking around the beginning of October 21. Prior to that yes it was very much higher.
And it hasn’t really started yet, once we get a favourable RNS regarding reinstallation progress, you’ll have to look at previous price history and guess!!!
If China doesn’t play ball with the West over the situation in Ukraine, we will be sanctioning them and not buying any more of their tests I would imagine. You can guess which industry in the UK will get somewhat of a boost in that situation
Kettle, in answer to your question I believe I heard on the news at some point over the last few days that only 35% of both Ukrainians and Russians had been fully vaccinated.
The governments of the world of course would like population to continue to rise, because there is nothing worse in their opinion than a shrinking economy. It is just my opinion that I think 2 billion people on the planet is about enough. We, as merely another specie on the planet do not have the right to encroach on the environment of all the other creatures to the extent that they may no longer exist
I have no problem with people having children, I just don’t think 5+ should be an option having the knowledge we didn’t have even 30 years ago.
