A bit of a lame Price today I think considering the financial situation and outlook. Maybe the extra millions coming in from the recent uplift will help when the final figure is released next week.

I could conceivably see 20p again at some point but I wouldn’t add to the nonsense that is being banded around about £1.

This is an announcement of monumental proportions, we are now debt free, cash in the bank with more revenue due very soon. This is the best position Hurricane Energy has been in for years.

This is very interesting now, according to Sky TV report I’m watching there is little in the way of treatment or vaccine available for this virus at present. Testing could come to the fore!

If the bond is settled by close of business today it may not be seen until Monday. Expect an RNS after that

By rights the share price should start increasing now due to the impending news of being debt free. Coupled with this within a few days will be the result of the July uplift, it will be $100 per barrel minimum in my estimation.

I wonder if some investors here forget the magnitude of the official news (when an RNS finally appears on this specific event) that a once beleaguered oil company will now be debt free and have a substantial steady income with a view to further exploration.

No doubt there will be a further RNS once the debt has been fully cleared on the 24th.

The stock market in total is down and affected at the moment. This share is not on it’s own

I agree with eurofil, The announcement of the full debt clearance is a momentous landmark. It may not make the share price double but it will certainly make it rise and there will be more stability in the company’s profile. This coupled with a continued income stream will allow for further investment or just cash growth/possible future dividends.

Totally unwarranted drop and low price at the moment.

I’m hoping now that this will be the beginning of a continuous and steady rise. Although some have said this share price has been undervalued for some time, now we have the news of an assured income which puts everything back on an even keel

The company has a bright future now, to be honest I doubted it for a while but this news is a game changer
