Thanks senseman, most likely more luck than judgment but sometimes in the past I’ve held on for more and ended up missing out (Novacyt)
Good luck to everyone, I sold my 1m shares at 7.5p last week, I wasn’t willing to take the chance of getting just over 6p and being stuffed for the rest. Luckily my average was 3.77p so I’m happy.
Should the present deal fail and another buyer comes along with a better offer, I will be happy for you all.
From what I have read, the value of the company and assets is still at £140m that’s just under £2 per share in realistic terms
This will remain pretty much stagnant until next June when the court case will be heard.
For those who wonder why there has been no reinvestment, cash reserves must be held back for the possible worst outcome of the court case. I still think that it will be settled out of court in the favour of Novacyt prior to the hearing, but we will have to wait another year for that sadly.
None of the above
I just bought 400,000 to top up to 2,000,000 in total
In my opinion this statement just shows what utter contempt they have for smaller shareholders, this ridiculous attempt at scaremongering to frighten people into selling their shares right now so they can be hoovered up, or accepting a very lousy deal.
And let’s not forget that some members of the BOD have previous
And if I’m correct a further 21.6 million shares have just been bought, advised via RNS also
Fortunately for us smaller holders, even though I have 1 million, this will still be regarded as a smallholding, especially as someone has just bought 20 million.
I think those people buying larger amounts now are looking for a fast buck, a revised offer will give them that and no doubt that one will get through. I can’t see how anyone apart from the major investors want to accept what is currently on the table
I think today’s RNS shows some confidence is still felt regarding the future of SAE and the extra time allowed will enable the Company to get the fourth turbine online. Hopefully putting it back into a profitable situation.
No company ever gives its best offer initially.
The offer is pathetic and hopefully collectively we will reject it and they will come up with something more suitable. If they don’t, we continue the company and milk it as it produces
There are still very large purchases going through, I’m guessing that speculators are thinking the offer will be improved or another offer will come in, that can happen when a current offer is on the radar of larger companies in the same industry. Almost 6,000,000 shares just bought reference the RNS just in.
If, collectively, we reject the Prax offer I think they are likely to improve both the up -front part and the future payments may have fewer provisos. No one ever gives their best offer initially. As it stands currently, I agree with everybody else it’s a nonstarter.
Add my 1 million
And that should be cash up front and no ridiculous provisos.
An alternative sensible offer would be greatly appreciated. However, if we reject the current offer maybe Prax will come back with something more acceptable without the (unpredictable at least) future offers. 14p seems to be a generally more acceptable figure to a lot of shareholders.
At the moment it’s 45%, I believe it has to be 75% but in the meantime some buyers are loading up quite heavily.
I see another 8 million and then another 12 million shares have been sold to an interested party. We all need to keep hold of our shares in order that we may outvote them
Having read about Prax we can forget any future dividends, they will never materialise. You can tell that payment in the very near future regarding the next offload has provisos.
Thanks for that link 404, very enlightening about Prax. I doubt we would see anything beyond the initial payment making the share worth at the best 6p. No, No,No.
