Some of you may not be familiar with the rise of Novacyt shares at the beginning of the pandemic. There is an air of similarity with this share, however the big difference is that this one will not have a short lifespan and the same limitations.

We must disregard the price of this share at its height, things are different now. Novacyt shares went from 7p to somewhere in the region of £12 within a 12 month period. Who knows, this could rise in the same manner.

I think the price will be held back initially by those who are taking a quick profit. Long-term holders will benefit in the end.

There has been a lot of speculation over the last few days, will there be an RNS today to announce the recent changes and hopeful successes to come?

If so, I wonder how much of a takeoff there will be.

The pre-opening price is always interesting in the situation like this. Historically with shares in this situation they would open close to the highest point in the previous 12 months. I would say, don’t anyone be in a rush to sell them, the fewer that are available, the higher the price goes.

If I’m not mistaken, planning permission was granted awhile back wasn’t it?

I think we may see a significant rise today, making it very tempting to sell. If you’re in it for the long term, you will need nerves of steel.

I haven’t valued the company personally, it’s what the market says it is worth. As with everything, worth what anyone is willing to pay for it, despite its debt.

If this company is going to be given £11.1 million at the initial start of the deal, it doubles the value immediately. Therefore, shouldn’t it follow that the shares double in value?

I think it’s likely to rise gently until the meeting, any more swift increases and it will be a pump and dump situation with fewer people prepared to buy until the news comes through.

I would imagine it will go up to the recent high again before the meeting next week. Who knows where it can go in anticipation.

There will be short-term gains for sure, not positive about how long the oil prices may remain elevated because we don’t know how long the situation in Iran and surrounding areas will last. However, there is definitely money to be made in the next few weeks.

I’m pleased I sold my shares, albeit as I lost, some months ago. A very badly managed company, who never built on their success during the times of Covid.

This company is becoming a bigger fish !!!
