Following a significant increase in interest from possible funders and an extensive site visit by the JV-management and technical team, the Company is pleased to announce that the JV partners have agreed a strategy and associated deadlines for securing Project financing. Katoro will look to complete the Project Financing on or before 30 September 2020, which will be sufficient to fund the construction and commissioning of a Beneficiation Plant and auxiliary operations.
I must have spent at least 10 minutes deliberating over the buy at 1.97, considered waiting for 1.95.
But then I dropped some numbers into my spreadsheet and realised the difference when we hit 4.5p is negligible so I took it.
Now if there's an RNS tomorrow morning, I will be a very happy Kai.
Erixlie - I haven't looked too much into LC myself, but from what I've read on the boards (primarily from KIBO holders) is that LC has never managed to deliver on a project.
That would worry me... if Graham Briggs wasn't on board. The market loved the update announcing his appointment, and for good reason: his track record is solid and he wouldn't stake his reputation on an LC venture if he didn't think it would work out.
Like a few others have said, he would have to try very hard to screw this up.
Briggs at the helm, oversubscribed placing, more interest in the project than anticipated, and a very bullish gold market.
Famous last words perhaps, but surely he couldn't mess this up now?
KAT have been ramping up their activity on twitter over the last week, obviously trying to generate interest. Good sign as far as I'm concerned, though it would be much better if they actually interacted on Twitter rather than just relying on scheduled posts and never actually looking at the responses
Croper, announcing the project at the end of Jan saw the price rocket to 3.6p. Getting Graham Briggs onboard as the JV manager pushed it further to just shy of 5p
There has been some dilution since and I can't be bothered right now to do the maths, but if we get funded with no further dilution, I would be disappointed with just 4p.
