Reason for death - pathologically speaking - total organ failure due to overwhelmed cellular function (Usually Kidneys 2nd place Liver - then Heart)
Body can't cope with the viral / more probably bacterial toxin by-product overload.
Likely victims : "insert Human" - infected with a respiratory virus - that reduces 02 to the tissues - so organs fail - with an underlying Health condition (insert Diabetes / Immuno compromised etc)

Apart from Air-con - a lot of buildings have (legally Required I think?) Forced Air Systems.
Would be Happy to stand corrected :)
Certainly would not want to be in a "Closed Air System" building with no protection from a CV Variant carrier coughing through a non virus killing mask - to leak the virus particles via not safe FILTRATION system ?
