Thanks Chesh - i'll try to contact them this week. Problem is you have to phone them late at night to catch them. I won't hold my breath they will be able to say much other than what smiley said below but it would be good to get at least that confirmed!

Has anyone on here genuinely spoken to the company?

I tried to send a message on their website but got the same problem as the other chap who posted here (wouldn't accept my phone number so message not sent)

I'm 50% on whether to believe the guy today. I do believe they likely know where they're at and just need to make it official but would be good to hear it from the horses mouth. Anyone have a number I can contact Joe/Oilex on?

For the record, I would say the downside at this price (6m market cap) is barely anything, i.e. i wouldnt have thought it would go below 0.2 for long if it did but the upside really is multiples.

To be fair to them, they have given us a quarterly update, interim results, many updates in Oct, Nov, Dec and communicated through Align Research.
You guys seem to need an update every 5 minutes!
The next step is deal finally done or to put further pressure on GSPC.
Massive upside here, limited downside imo. I doubt we will drift below 0.2 but imagine this month we will get above 0.4 at least!

That's interesting Spudika - i've done similar with 'limit orders' before to buy when they are not offering online quotes.

It gives them a chance to reject the order. As in my previous post, i think the mm's are caught short from buys earlier in the week and it will likely drift back towards 0.31 as the poster earlier suggested.

Manipulation is constantly at play with this share.

Why else would mm's hold the price down and not let you buy even £1,000 worth?

I've seen them do this many times in this share but not so much on others. In my opinion, they get caught one way (e.g. yesterday around 8m shares got bought without sells to match)

If someone wanted £10k-20k in here, they would drive the price up a good 10-15%. imo.

Mike 11:36 - if you also look at the annual report, the wording of material uncertainty is also the same and as you say in the report 12 months prior.

It's a very standard paragraph put into most reports on aim.

They don't need to raise money any time soon (July) and then it will likely be an institution onboard, which doesn't usually come at any hit to the sp (quite the opposite!)

This is getting very exciting but i'm guessing we'll be waiting at least another few days, maybe weeks for an agreement. I'd expect the upward movement in sp to continue between now and then...

People that sold on that RNS are going to be bitter as hell if the real one comes out later this week lol.

Oilex basically need money by July and then 12 months after that to develop the assets.

We know this already but the arb will be long finished by then and Joe has stated several times we have institutional investors ready to step in once arb is sorted.

Another 8m buy. I don't think a daytrader would put an order in like that, so she's probably in for the news due soon - I would expect literally within days or 2 or 3 weeks max.

This has legs imho and is only just warming up. Long awaited news will really turn this wildly to the upside i.e. potentially well towards and even above a penny a share. It's got all the ingredients for it...

The price was utterly absurd recently.

I would guess it got that low partly because people on here keep ramping it with silly old articles.

When investors keep seeing this, it makes people look completely desperate and it puts them off.

Ironically when rampers behave like this, they're actually doing themselves a diservice.

It's nice to see we've rejected them silly low prices fairly quickly and we can go onwards and upwards now. Hopefully deal is genuinely in the pipeline for the next few days/weeks and this can have a few double digit % days and get closer to a penny, where it belongs...

If they do genuinely hold then it is a good sign as they will have spoken in depth to the company and for a broker to go and put 30k of his own money in after that, out of all the stocks they come across, then to me that makes me more comfortable in my position here.
To me the stock looks very cheap but Align will have done a deeper research to write their note so I want to see that they genuinely hold and are not yet another pump and dump spiv.

If that is the case, then that is extremely misleading to followers of them. (12:55 post)

The cynic in me questions whether they just get paid to talk up lots of different shares, get paid in shares, then dump their shares (but only post their buys and not sells) - so it would be interesting to see if they do actually hold 10m+ shares or whatever they claimed to have bought on the market recently.

Are these people to be trusted in their 'alignment' or do they just dump their shares immediately?

As I predicted last week, the fast money and pi money has been washed out of this in the last few days - Now we can go up off real investors taking a longer term view, buying and holding. Solid support at this level and very cheap as I keep saying. By the end of next week, I hope to at least be in the 40s here and everyone will wonder 'what is going on?, did i miss something?' etc. When all that has happened is fast money has sold to real investors.
Oil up, markets up, February will have been and gone in a flash and a gspc announcement will have been made in the 2nd half of Feb

No. Joe has said before in the interview, once the arb is sorted, they have big players ready to fund a big project here immediately. We are talking 10's of million way beyond today's market cap.
