Market makers knee jerk reaction is to knock the price down to the placing price and scare everyone.
It often works for them but when they also get carted and caught with too many shorts, causing massive re-rates of hundreds of percent. GUN will be one of them. The assets are too valuable and ii backing too strong.

Having the long awaited news of gaining this asset this morning along with having £500k of institutional backing to accelerate the asset is not bad news guys. It's very, very good. Watch this space.

To think all of the little, working people topping up and buying their 5 and 10 thousand pounds worth recently, whilst believing in the confidence of someone close to the company suggesting they're 'not selling but buying more, this is a great price!' Whilst selling over several weeks, making a massive profit out of them, leaving them screwed.
Sure the many brown nosers deserve a good hard shafting but I'm betting there are many good people on here who do not. People that have spent many years of their life making an honest living and trying to put it into something decent for their old age.
You can bet there's a placing or something disappointing coming soon. Luckily I only hold a few here But feel for people who bought in in recent weeks.

Chart looks like it's found the low. Selling exhausted. Small uptrend ready for a pop.

Strong newsflow due for this, this week, next and through June.

This will have an uptrend before drilling imo. Same thing happens every time in this stock for the past 3 years before take-off. Then 3p-8p range as results come through.

Has said several times in different videos that there are several institutions interested to finance the entire project (10's of million) -
Market cap £5m is absurd, especially if GSPC do just give us a deal before this goes to arbitration...

The price should be going up without news imo.

Said recently if they did a placing it would be at a significant premium (that was when the share price was 0.21)

Well it looks like gspc have been refinanced and also kissed and made up with oilex. Now we can do a massive 100m operation at cambay this year.
I can't see how this will sit below 1p come summertime.

I doubt it will cause further delay. More likely speed it up than anything.

RIM have supported this and have a c.10% shareholding with options. They will not let this go much lower.

Patience will be rewarded here imo....eventually.

As soon as a deal is done or this get's recapitalised, volume will come back.

Just look at edl and mx oil after they got recapitalised recently. 500-1000% up within days.

Directors need to put money into this with a solid invesor so we can do the same!!!!!

There's still many scenarios where this can come good very quickly for shareholders.
Market cap for what we have is too low.
A new large investor, director buying, last minute deal, market sentiment, placing with large director participation or even a takeover.
Just look at how quickly mx oil turned.
I'm in now and not selling till it multiples from here. Gl all.

Quarterly report tomorrow will potentially be a bit more positive. (it was out 30th April last year so guessing tomorrow)

45% was worth over £100m so 100% in theory could be worth hundreds of millions in the future.
The potential oil and gas reserves here are well into the £billions

Oilex and their 45% cambay share have been valued at over £100m before.
If they buy out gspc and get back to work in the field then a 10-20 bagger here short term is very possible.
If it's a success, then you could see way more upside here than any other share I can think of on Aim. Way more than 20x.
To say this is a bombed out stock is a huge understatement.
So many people will not invest and funds will not be allowed to invest because of the ongoing dispute with gspc.
Now we have a market cap that has dwindled to £5m which is beyond silly but good imo for people who are prepared to wait until the markets put a more reasonable value on this.
Risk:reward is obscene at this price.
The absolute negativity and despair over the past few weeks on this forum just makes me think we must be close to the bottom.

Gordon - are you suggesting gspc would want more than £8m to sell their 55% of cambay as an out of court settlement?

But our market cap of only £5m is too high for our half?

So oilex shares are screamingly cheap here?
