Nolupus. I can make it more simple for you. Lupuzor gives full remission to some patients and kills none of them. Sorry I cannot make it any more simple than that.

P3 says 7.6% complete remission for the subgroup. Benlysta does not do that. I will not bore you by listing the common side effects of Benlysta, but nb Benlysta can cause serious and sometimes fatal side effects such as infections, and heart problems. Lupuzor has no serious side effects. You think this will not overtake Benlysta? I do, which is why I am a buyer. Short away, mon brave. The bigger, the better.

Nolupus, the superior treatment is Lupuzor. That was what the p3 trial was for. As for anyone else who thinks Lupuzor won�t be bought out or get to market, take out massive shorts. :-))

hunkymunky, that is the very point I have been making!! For $290-300m, GSK can have a superior treatment for Lupus!!

They did not leave at the same time, as already explained. I have no idea why Lanstead sold out and neither have you. Funds have rules that they follow strictly. I know one ex fund manager who had to keep on selling a massively profitable position because he was only allowed a maximum of 10% of his fund in any one stock, even though it 40 bagged in the end. You worry about what everyone else thinks about the stock, if that suits you. I will do my own research and value my own opinion. Anything else is sheepdom.

Yes, I clocked that. I think it would be worth $200m to GSK, minimum. Better than spending $139m on tinkering with the sawnoff shotgun, Benlysta. Why take down the whole immune system, when you can home in specifically?? Sense will out.

Elegance, my buys also showing as sells. All it needs is a RNS stating that IMM is in talks, which may not lead to a deal, and these shorters bottoms will be oot the windae. I cannot wait for that. :-))

Not something that shorters dwell on, naturally, but that is the long and short of it. Buy, hold or sell, but base your decision on facts, not scaremongering. I have no idea if the �12 Berenberg valuation will ever come off, but the idea that IMM will junk LUPUZOR, the only treatment that can provide 100% remission, and DID provide 100% for 7.6% of patients, is absurd. DYOR

Pokerchips, they thought they could prove Lupuzor with 202 patients, probably on the basis that they had a budget for 202 patients, but that was without considering dropouts and an unexpectedly good response for the care package. Wrong, of course, but that does not mean that Lupuzor is not the best treatment for Lupus. I believe it is, but we will see what the outcome of their talks is, the detailed analysis and the extended trial. Best of luck to you too.

Pokerchips, I was being lazy. I am on holiday, so not that focussed. You know that I like to mislead people? Opinion, perhaps, but that is your prerogative. So, you are not shorting. Others are, so my points apply to them. Makes $400m was, in truth, sloppy. GSK revenues are $400m. LUPUZOR revenues have multi billion potential, allegedly. I would not know what net profit is / would be in either case. GSK is spending $139m on Benlysta? They need to do something about it, for sure. I would advise them to buy LUPUZOR from IMM. $200m should do it. A FAR safer treatment, targeted at LUPUS, rather than the more toxic Benlysta, which, as far as I understand it, suppresses the immune system in general, rather like a general antibiotic blasts gut bacteria in general. Yes, i should have used the word SERIOUS. Does not get much more serious than DEATH, but i will not split hairs over that. LUPUS sufferers know only too well how SERIOUS side effects can be, so yes, it is a no-brainer for them to continue with the LUPUZOR trial. You can poo-poo 7.6% full remission rates, but you would have to be more than a little stupid, either as a patient or as a clinician, to NOT give yourself that chance. Surely your imagination can reach as far as that? Thank you for picking up on my sloppiness. Is there anything you object to in the above?

Pokerchips, you are correct. You have an equal chance of winning the lottery with any set of numbers - chosen, random, or even consecutive. Patients and clinicians have not asked to stay on placebo treatment. They have asked for LUPUZOR, because it can provide 100% remission with ZERO side effects. Considering that one of the existing side effects is cessation of existence, i can see why they want the treatment. I have no problem with shorting - even the mindless deramping of IsGambling, which is providing me with a series of buying opportunities. Having said that, it is worth noting, from time to time and for the benefit of LTHs here, that Lupuzor has the potential to be worth multiple billions to GSK, which makes $400m out of Benlysta, which had worse results, has greater side effects and cannot provide 100% remission. Just saying. Carry on shorting, and i will carry on dripfeeding.

I can never hit the bottom, so I just dripfeed. No need for me to be too greedy. The fact that clinicians and patients wanted to get/stay on Lupuzor for the six month extended trial tells me all i need to know. 100% remission and zero side effects means IMM is heading UP in the medium term. Take the sp down as much as you shorters like. Dripfeed and full recovery is on the way.
