Adam Boulton was putting words into Michael Fabricant’s mouth, saying that he had changed his mind in Brexit, in the same way that hundreds of MPs, who stood pro Brexit manifestos, had changed their mind to become remainers.
Fabricant clearly, several times, said he had NOT changed his mind on Brexit. He said that he had voted twice against May’s deal, preferring no deal to a bad deal, as constantly put forward by Mrs May. Now he will vote FOR the deal, as the risk is that parliament, which has a massive remain majority, will sabotage Brexit.
Also worth noting that the Speaker toad was presented with another motion yesterday, that the House repeats its commitment to deliver the result of the referendum, which he declined to put forward.
Boulton is fiercely Remain. His choice, of course, but you need to listen to the person he interviews, instead of registering Boulton’s views. He SHOULD be there to interview, in a balanced way. Not something he is very good at.
