There are usually two reasons for making a decision - a good reason and the real reason. In Saylor buying btc, I think the good reason is a I quoted you above, but the real reason is just that he believes Bitcoin is the answer to most financial woes, but primarily as a hedge against the inevitable inflation heading our way.

HarChris, I can’t prove that Blackrock hasn’t been dragging btc down, for their own benefit and to discourage USD -> btc on behalf of US Treasury, but I strongly believe it has happened. I also believe that big banks have brought back the boat and thrown out the weakest of btc holders.

I also strongly believe that ARB was shorted down to let Blackrock and the other IIs buy in cheaply.

I don’t believe that Saylor has been selling btc from Microstrategy, because that would be contrary to his seemingly endless, inane tweets, plus he would be selling at a huge loss, plus he would have to report it.

I only half believe this, since he tweeted Microstrategy’s intention to borrow $400m to buy more btc.

It’s all going to work out fine, imho.

To be honest, I had no idea there was a vote until I used this (ouija) board this morning.. it’s easier to contact the dead than get info from CICC. And look at me! I should be demanding money, but I’m grasping for the odd bone of an email to be chucked at me.

I can’t say being a CICC investor has been life enhancing.

Hexam, that update much appreciated. At $62k/btc, I had very little interest in the fine detail of the running costs, but it is very comforting to see that they are very well covered at current Bitcoin prices.

This is all good stuff. We will definitely outlast and outperform the vast majority of miners.

Spikeyj, this lot couldn’t organise a whatsname in a doodah. However, I invested, partly on their holding in Superdielectrics, which they sold! I can’t remember for sure, but I think they didn’t bother to RNS until weeks later.

I am where I am. I’ll be out at 6p, if it gets there, unless they are breeding rabbit for sudden revelation involving top hats.

Are you including non-cash items in there, like depreciation? I’m struggling to get much above the $1,700/btc to pay for admin costs of £2.4m/pa.

Hexam, the admin overheads were £2.4m last year. If ARB mines just 170btc/month, that is around 2k btc/year, so needs under $1,700/btc for admin overheads.

ObiWan81, what doesn’t kill you makes you strong, as the Germans have it.

The lower btc goes, the better it is for ARB, medium term. Other miners will perish and ARB will profit from their demise.

johnnymd, I had about $8k in mind, but it’s somewhere in the single digit thousands.

I can’t see all the Chinese miners surviving this btc price for any length of time, but ARB will still make £35m PROFIT in the next 12 months, with £25m btc hodl, cash in the bank, NO debt and 25% of Pluto.

That is WITHOUT the increased hash rate of the new machines.

Any ideas for investments that better ARB (without perforated edges) should be sent in on a postcard. The postcard can have something with perforated edges stuck on. Only seems fair.

Profit, assets and free cash flow, that FULLY justify the current sp.

The future expansion plans for Texas, the green credentials, the investment in Pluto, the partnerships with epic and DMG are all just icing on the cake.

Those are all great reasons to buy ARB, but an overnight game changer would be a Nasdaq RNS.

denby69, I’m not fussed. I thought it was good value at $32.7k, so I bought some. If it goes lower, I might buy if I have spare cash, I might not. I believed it was a good long term investment when I bought, just like my previous buys, at higher levels.

Anyway, I only mentioned that in the context of cool heads.

yemaj, of course there are badly behaved children, but the adults don’t have to join in.

Btc goes up and down. It was lower than this until February 21, then again in May, but it was also above $63k recently. It’s a market correction. The market will keep correcting itself.

I’m not selling btc. I’m buying btc. When more is bought than sold, it will go up. Some investors may have to sell btc for some reason. That’s unfortunate, but for others, it’s an opportunity.

Just like the price of ARB.

Cool heads will do well.
