I’m going to resist a discussion around “as ever” and “suddenly “ although they appear to be oxymorons to me. If you have level 2, you will note that Berenberg is on the bid, as they were all of yesterday. A little of yesterday had Winterfloods level with them, but mostly JBER on its own. That obviously are accumulating for someone. They will keep the price here as long as they can.

We have to wait for accumulation to finish. Distribution will come much later. Hopefully, months later.

$39k looks good going into the Miami conference. There has to be significant confirmation bias expected there, that I could see btc in the mid $40ks next week.

Just my opinion.

I would add to your list, the price of tungsten. The infrastructure investment, just in the US, will propel the price of tungsten into the $450-500/mtu range, imho. That would surely get you back into profit.

I’m not a new investor. I liked the science, but bailed out when Mint boarded. Mint have now been thrown overboard, and this is what I see.

You’ve lost money, and I sympathise with you about that and understand how it must affect your judgement, but I have invested again, based on the price and the possibilities, as I know several of my investing friends have.

Penny had worked at LGIM for 15 years, where he had managed the award-winning L&G UK Alpha Trust and L&G UK Special Situations Trust as well as several segregated mandates. Previously he worked at M&G Investment Management, and prior to that Scottish Amicable Investment Management. Penny has a master’s degree in engineering and economics from Oxford University.

He looks almost as astute as some of the LTHs on this board, I may add, and head and shoulders above the resident, and guest, trolls.

The “sells” at 158.49 are buys, but the 157.4 sells are sells.

Logic dictates that the big trades are IIs, although if I had that kind of money, I would put that in ARB. People sell for all kinds of reasons, trading to buy in, hopefully, at a lower price being one of them. Could also be selling to free up cash for a stock that might have imminent news, pay for a holiday, etc.

I have no problems with normal investors, but we have a few residents who pump and dump to suit their own book. I find that shabby, but it seems to be acceptable for some.

WINS been soaking up the sells for most of the morning, so we should see some biggish trades after cob.

At the risk of being labelled completely irrelevant, I just point out that LP needs another engineer.

Kozzi, I’m sure many people are capable of speculating on Bitcoin. I’m ok with that, provided it is within their corporate governance.

Xenor, as I tried to explain previously, my issue with ARB actively trading btc is one of timescales, as well as governance. I’m ok with them doing it, unless that cash has a specific purpose with a specific timescale.

I have nothing against that, but he has to be sure that he doesn’t need to spend that money on bricks and mortar buildings, or a solar farm, before btc comes OUT of the dip. Dips can go down further, as well as up. He can’t buy btc, then NOT build Texas because btc is still in a dip!

TheProphet, PW’s salary probably gets HODLed.

ARB has resources that need to be spent in pursuit of smart growth. We would all be irritated if he bought and sold btc at a loss, then had to raise, would we not?

I would be shocked if PW bought ANY BTC.

He isn’t there to gamble our cash on btc going up or down! Smart growth. Years and quarters, not weeks and days. There is no get rich quick ethos with PW, just get very, very rich when the whole plan plays out.
