MS really jumped on PW for misquoting Gary Gunsler. “Bitcoin is like the Wild West” instead of “Crypto is like the Wild West”.

Ginsler is very pro Bitcoin. That first btc traded futures ETF will make a huge difference to the btc price.

It was a good answer, of course, but MS was testing PWs ability to think on his feet. He did that a few times. Overall, PW came out well.

Poptimist, I second your viewpoint.

I’m not saying MS will never have some kind of deal with ARB, but he was making a point, in a casual, joking way. The point was that miners, in general, will hodl more and more of their production as time passes and that institutions will buy miners to indirectly increase their exposure to Bitcoin, thereby getting round the 10% crypto limit they now have.

I think MS was leading PW into saying he would buy btc, leading to more IIs buying ARB, raising the sp and allowing them to borrow in the market. I think the question threw PW, who gave it to Benny(?). Benny didn’t twig either, so they both came out with the stock line of “investing in infrastructure “.

The interview was not a cosy, choreographed chat. MS chucked a few awkward questions at PW. Some were handled very well, others made PW squirm a bit. Overall a very good performance and well worth a listen.

I missed his speech, but I think in the Q&A he said that the SEC was due to rule on the first applications for Bitcoin Futures ETFs, which would be massive.

EMH went ADR on July 27th and the sp went from about 74p to 86p, so 16%+ uplift.

That isn’t tech, of course. I expect arb to go up 20%.

ArgoBull, I’m no expert on ADRs, but my understanding is that the appointed US broker(s) buys shares on the UK market, bundles them into an ADR, then sells those in the US.

The benefits will be huge, in my opinion. But that’s only an opinion. Trolls will say otherwise.
