Pedantic me. Failing the Howey test is good. Passing the Howey test means it is a security and subject to SEC rules. ETH will pass the test, whereas ETC will fail it. Thanks to Lottohopes for the heads up on ETC.

Exactly. For every investor who researches a stock and buys in on their own research, there are another 25-50 investors who need mutual encouragement to buy, or for that matter, sell. That, sadly, often works against us! You and I have done it here and elsewhere.

I’m still buying, but I have to wait for everyone else to tune in.

I may take a look at ETC. Is it controlled by one entity, like ETH, or is it decentralised, like btc?
