All listed companies are required to do a Senior Accounting Officer Audit annually. To ensure there are sufficient controls around all tax matters- VAT/Corp Tax/ Employee etc. This has to be submitted to HMRC once someone has audited it. Wood would already be having SAO audits. So i cannot see this being a VAT issue

Makes sense now why the BoD are not buying. There is a significant upside due to VAT but still haven't bought. Totally makes sense to me. Lol

Won't be pre - Christmas. With year end around the corner the review will likely be concluded in January / February alongside KPMG's external audit. KPMG will be relying on Deloittes report before signing off on the year end audit.
